Author's Note: Okay so like towards the end and at the beginning this may seem like a bit of a male dominance/ sexist book but you have no need to worry. Our male protagonist Chris is as sweet as a popsicle a cherry, milk chocolate sugar or a bamboo. Just read and it'll unfold. Also there is no violence towards any females. The most violence ull see is in the room or imagine it if you'd like idk;) ;)

Also thank you so much for giving this a read. I promise you if you stick around you won't be disappointed.

"These aren't good people Elisabeth," The officer started. "Listen to me, and listen carefully. The word soulmate is beautiful. It's idealistic. The idea of finding the one without having to look for them is wonderful. And they're meant to be for you, they fit. But you have to look at the bigger picture Elisabeth. You're human and they're not. Their customs are not humane. They're animals. The independence you experience in the human world is a privilege his people do not have. I believe you've studied the humanities?" He asked.

Kerry, my principle chimed in before I could respond. "One of our brightest politics students,"

I pursed my lips. Did she confuse me for someone else. I was a C student in politics.

"Well then, I believe you understand how important our human rights are to us and how we work as nations to ensure freedom and equality for each other,"

I nodded unsure about where this was going. I just wanted to go back to him and see those mesmerising blue eyes.

"Elisabeth, these people live in a class system still. Females are disrespected, they think feminism or equality are stupid terms. The female gender of their population are expected to be submissive to the ones above them. They're beasts, quite literally. Disrespect, or crimes are met with harsh punishment. The class system is ridiculous. At the bottom are Omegas that are servants. Everything in their society is about strength. Compared to them, physically humans are very weak, I can't imagine how they would perceive you, how they would treat you as a human in their world." He paused, observing my face for a reaction.

I didn't give him any. I was too afraid of what I was hearing.

"The idea of love isn't the same for them as it is for us. They hold these mating ceremonies to find their ones. It's easier for them to find each other if they're in close vicinity to each other. But Elisabeth, as soon as they find their mate, the female counterpart is expected to bear a mark of the male on their neck as a symbol of ownership and male dominance. They are to carry the male's children within a week. Some couples consummate on the same night they meet. Can you imagine doing that Elisabeth? Having a stranger's kids? Every part of their society is distinctive from ours. They are rough, and cruel. If you agree to go with him, we won't be able to save you from the cruelty of their world. You won't be able to return. You won't be able to see your family, and continue your education. You'll be expected to settle in to the role of an Alpha's mate and have his children. Your role would be to be a housewife, take care of his kids, cook, clean, all the while your mate takes care of the politics of his world as an Alpha." He took a deep breathe.

The lady standing behind him a crisp black suit with an orange shirt stepped forward. I admired the way her dark waves sat around her face.

She spoke with a smooth, alluring voice. I wondered what her name was. "Mr Cartenski is no professional in their world. In fact he has barely touched some of the most horrific aspects of their society,"

I couldn't help but frown in disappointment. There was more?

"Elisabeth, they collar the ones that disrespect them. Sometimes when a female isn't submissive to her mate, a collar is attached to her neck and only taken off until after the mate is satisfied. They are completely animalistic. The man you saw in the office, was charming, and beautiful looking might I add. But that's all a facade. I've seen their leader angry, and it's scary. I pity you. For you to be destined with that man is cruel. He doesn't deserve anyone. His rage, dominance... Just remember when you're making your decision. Those people aren't human. And if you agree, you loose everything you have. It's a trap Elisabeth is all I can say."
