Chapter 1: Crystaliza's Past

Let's start with the eldest triplet, Crystaliza. Her story begins after she was taken from her parents. She was found in a small village by a couple who owned the village. They've wanted a daughter, but couldn't find any time. They found Crystaliza near the village blacksmith while walking around at night to make sure everyone was inside. They heard her crying in a little box with a pink blanket, thinking why someone would leave a little girl out in the cold like that. They took her inside and decided to adopt her. They asked if she had any parents, but she said she didn't remember. The couple took care of Crystal as their own daughter.

At age 4, Crystal began to read high school books, and her adopted parents were very surprised she's able to read such big words in the books. They knew she was a special girl. By age 14, Crystal would start finding pink sparkles around her after she wakes up from sleeping. She goes with her parents to a counselor, and she says that she has no clue what's happening. They call a priest and he says, "I feel odd energy coming from your daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kalen. Did you adopt her?"

"Actually, yes sir, we did. We found her late at night by the blacksmith. We were doing our daily patrol to make sure nobody was outside, but only the guards were outside, like usual. Somehow, they never saw the child, so we took her in and adopted her. We don't know who her real parents are," Mrs. Kalen said. The priest looks at her then their adopted daughter.

"Maybe your real parents know what's happening, because the energy I feel from you, Crystaliza, is very strong and powerful, but filled with good and protection," the priest says.

"What's wrong with me?" she asks.

"I don't know Crystal, but whatever it is, it's a good thing," he says. Once the priest left, Crystal couldn't go to sleep. Until 4 am, she finally fell asleep in her room. She only slept for an hour, that's when she saw a red haired girl in front of her, watching her sleep. She shot up and asked who she is. The girl said nothing, but she had fox ears, demon wings, horns, and a demon tail. She dressed in black and she had a black crown on her head. She was Amanda, her aunt. Amanda never said a word to Crystal, and after a few minutes, she left the room and disappeared as Crystal ran out of her bedroom to follow her. Crystal shakes her head thinking she's imagining things, she yawned, then went back into her room, and went back to sleep.

The next day, Crystal tells Mr. and Mrs. Kalen about what she had seen. They tell her that it was only a dream and that she should just forget about it. Crystaliza nodded and began to eat breakfast before school. Once done, the bus was outside waiting on her. She waved bye to her parents, grabbed her backpack, and ran out the door. "Hey, Sam!" she said.

"What's up, Crystal? Anything cool happen over the weekend?' her friend, Sam, asks.

"Nah, just a priest coming over and telling me something cool might happen to me. I've been waking up seeing these pink sparkles around me, like magic. Last night, there was a demon in my room! Red hair, black fox ears, demon horns, wings, and demon tail. A black outfit and crown too," Crystal explained.

"AND YOU SAY THAT ISN'T EPIC!? DUDE, THAT'S AWESOME!! YOU MIGHT HAVE POWERS, CRYSTAL!! YOU SAY THAT'S NOT COOL?????" Sam exclaims loudly.

"JEEZ CHILL!!" Crystal says. Sam takes a deep breath to calm herself down. She then starts to talk to Crystal and they just chat about their weekends and about the school dance in a week. They decide to have a sleepover and go shopping for outfits for the dance over the whole weekend. At school, everyone talks about the dance, what they'll wear, and who their crush is, or who they want to take there. Crystal just ignores all the crush and date talk and talks about outfits, what people want to wear. "Well, you're not making me go to prom," Talia says.
