Hi reader! If you havn't read the first story yet, you might not understand parts of this one. Just might let you know :) ENJOY!

I am Crystal. Crystal Amythest Summers to be exact! And I am a princess. I live in the medieval times and I love Archery. My mother says its not 'lady like' though. I am a fairy princess, a mermaid princess, and a wizard. Kind of a big imagination for a 16 year old huh? Enough about me, lets get to one of the days in my life... my other life.

I was sitting alone in my room, fixing up my bow. As I said, I am an archer. I was thinking about what to do for the day. I decided to take a walk around the castle garden and thought that might spring an idea. As I was walking, I looked at my garden labyrinth. Labyrinth was a Latin word of maze. The labyrinth was made of big bushes cut to perfection. All of them tall and rectangle. I took a moment to admire it and got bored immediately.

You see, I am an adventurous girl and rather impatient. I trotted up to the entrance and wondered what I would do or how I would get help if I lost myself in there. I brought my bow and arrows in case that happened.

I have never actually tried to find the exit of the maze. No one ever did. They always said 'I am too busy!' or say that it was a waste of time. Anyone I ever asked about this said they never tried. Now here I was, staring at the beginning of something I did not know of. I was about to enter something I have never seen or been told about.

I took one step at a time. I was in no hurry. I looked at the angle of the sun and it was about 10 in the morning. Yes, I am an early riser!  I looked around the corner and saw more bush. I back away from it convincing myself that this was a bad idea. I had a better idea though. I never backed down on my plans, so I went to the garden and filled my quiver (arrow holder bag) with many little stones. That is probably all I need to find my way back.

I headed back for the labyrinth when I was greeted with my boyfriend Zayn.

Zayn: My dearest Crystal! What are you doing here so early!

Me: I always wake up at these times my sweet! 'I call back.' The real question is, what are YOU doing here?

Zayn: I was going to surprise you but, it isn't much of a surprise now, is it?

I only smile. He looks at my with a suspicious but devilishly handsome smile.

Zayn: And where are you off to?

I look at him and say: Well, I'm off to my new journey and quest in the labyrinth if you are willing to join me?

He jokingly bows down as to meeting royalty and says: I would be honored!

We laugh and head to the direction of the labyrinth. We once again stand right in front of the entrance. We look at each other and take a deep breath. I once again take the first step as Zayn follows behind me. As we start our path I put a stone every 15 steps we take. I wouldn't want to put them too far apart or too close either. We were about 20 mins. into the path when we saw something in the middle of the path. It was not a bush, or a flower, or anything I ever saw before.

Zayn: Have you ever seen anything like it?

Me: Never.

We just stared. We finally went closer to take a good look at it. It was a glowing, mystical, ball of light. But it was nestled on a little column. The ball was clear with a blue stripe going all around it like a candy cane. It had a glowing light in it that was almost a purplish, grayish, blackish colour with little white specks in it. It kinda looked like the galaxy. Like the milky-way was right there in front of us. We just stayed looking at it until a crackling twig broke the silence. We both turned to the right at the same time and sitting there was a little bird. It flew away as soon as we turned. Then we turned our attention back to the glowing orb. Zayn and I started whispering to each other like someone was there.

Me: We must be in the middle of the maze.

Zayn: Yes, probably. Do you see that thing? What is it?

Me: I have no clue. We shouldn't mess with it though. It might be dangerous.

Zayn:Yes, that is also right. Very clever of you.

He smiled at me like he always did. A warm welcoming smile.

We turned back to the glowing orb. We moved and inch closer and it looked as if it was getting brighter. We stopped at the sight.

Zayn: Was it just me, or did that thing glow more?

Me: I have no idea!

We were both bewildered.

Me: Wait. Let's test it out one by one. You go closer first and see if it will glow. Then come back. I will try next.

Zayn agreed and took a few steps forward. Nothing changed. He came back to the same spot he was in and I went next. Each step I took made it glow more. I stopped and looked back.

Me: I guess we know who was causing that!

He came next to me and said: Don't feel bad. Think of it like this. We are one step closer to finding whatever this thing has to offer!

I gave him a half-hearted smile and looked down at my feet. He tilted my chin back up and said: Really! Making it glow is probably a good thing!

I actually belived him this time. Sometimes I gave in to him too easily.

Me: Should I touch it? Maybe it is glowing because of my own powers too.

Zayn: No, not just yet. For all we know that thing may DRAIN your powers, not increase it.

I nodded in agreement. Maybe he was right. So I never touched it. We just sat next to it and took a rest. We have been walking for quite sometime now. I looked at the sun. It was high in the sky and I knew it was 12. We had walked up and down this thing for 2 hours! At least we got something out of this!

We lyed down together on the soft, sweet grass. The grass blades tickled out backs and they smelled like someone has cut them strand by strand. We just stayed quiet, looking up at the giant, fluffy clouds floating away. We started to spot all different types of shapes and animals! There was a ship, a hippo, a couple of cars, and other things like trains, ducks and their ducklings, and triangles and squares. After that, I picked myself off the ground and helped Zayn up too. We decided to keep going without bothering the glowing orb. But something about that thing made me resist from leaving it there. I turned around and started walking toward it. It was as if it was pulling to to it. I couldn't stop myself. I reached for it.

Zayn: CRYSTAL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? He shouted.

He tryed to pull my hand away but I used my other hand.

Zayn: Crystal! Are you going crazy? Havn't we talked about how dangerous this could be, earlier?

I only stared at him, not saying a word. I couldn't say anything or stop myself. I just stared.

Zayn: Crystal! Say something!! Don't you understand?

I finally said something. It was not at will though!

Me: I am sorry.

He turned to leave. When he turned around he had an astonished look on his face. My fingers pressed softly onto the glowing orb as I looked at him with tears in my eyes. I gently closed my eyes as I sprang into the air. I was glowing everywhere! Zayn was frantically calling my name in horror. I floated to the ground and the glowing was wearing off, but it was still there.

Zayn ran to my side. He was still calling my name. As he got near, his voice got softer, quieter. I somehow didn't wake. I was just lying still.........
