Simon was pacing the floor. He needed a way to get Lily. He knew she would be better off with him. He knew that she would be happier with him.

Simon looked up as Charley walked in. She looked at him. "Why can you not see that Lily is happy with Grace. Honestly Simon. You should see her. It's so cute the way she cuddles with her mum or the way she smiles when Grace walks into the room. You'd really risk your daughters happiness to get one over on Grace?"

"It's the principle. Grace won't let me see her."

"Grow up Simon."

Grace walked into work with Lily. Max had a meeting at the LA. Charley walked over to the two of them. "Hey. How's it going?" She asked.

"Well Lily here decided to tell me that she wants a rabbit. She had a full blown conversation with me and Max this morning about it," Grace said.

Charley grinned. "Please tell me that Max isn't getting a rabbit now?"

Grace laughed and shook her head. "Nope. He's at an LA meeting. He dropped us off and then went there," she told her. She smiled slightly. "How's things with Simon?"

"Don't ask. He's being a jerk. I'm not going to let him go for custody of Lily. It's not right. She's happy with you and Max and disrupting that will upset her and we can't have the cutie being upset," Charley said.

Grace sighed in relief. "I'm probably being harsh by not letting them see each other. But I can't help it. He's hurt me so much in the past and I don't want that for Lily."

Simon looked up as Grace walked in. She sighed. "We need to talk. I'm not putting my daughter through a custody battle. She is three years old and she doesn't need it. So I think we need to work out a schedule."

"What type of schedule?" He asked.

Grace rolled her eyes. "I'm willing to allow you weekends with Lily. And then in a few months, one day in the week."

Simon nodded. "Right. When will this start?"

"Next week. My sister is coming over this weekend with her kids. Next week though I will bring her over to your house and you can have her till 5pm on the Sunday."

Simon had to agree it was better than nothing. He nodded. "I can agree with that."

Charley looked up as Simon came in. He smiled. "Grace has agreed to give me weekends with Lily. Starting from next week. We get her from the Friday to the Sunday."

Charley nodded. "Well I think that Grace is thinking about her daughter and not wanting her to go through a custody battle."

Max had just gotten back from the meeting. He smiled when Grace walked in. "Hey. How's it going?" He asked as she sat on him.

"I've agreed to let Simon have Lily on weekends. But I'm picking her up 5pm on Sunday."

Max kissed her passionately. He knew she was being the mature one in the situation. But he didn't trust Simon. He knew there was something going on.
