The Dark Soul (Stein Fanfiction)

Chapter 13

        A/N Hello everyone! Thank you for reading my story so far! I really hope you enjoy this and sorry this took me so long. I wanted to make it extra special. Please vote and comment and please tell other people about this story!

        I looked around at my surroundings. There was a big fluffy bed with a furry blue blanket on top. Right next to it there was a white cabinet and above it was a window looking out to a lush green forest.

        "Rose!" A familiar voice called out. "Rose!" I turned around and looked at the closed door.

        I walked over to the door and reached towards it. My hand looked as small as a toddler but then turned large. Strange. I thought as I clasped the door-handle and turned it.

        The door budged open and I pushed it open revealing a long narrow golden hall.
        "Rose!" Someone called out again. I turned to the right and walked down the hall following the voice.

        There were pictures of people on the wall in golden frames and there was a long red carpet spread across the floor. I reached the end of the hallway and walked into another room.

        I was in some sort of grand entrance room at the top of a huge curling staircase. There was a enormous diamond chandelier on the ceiling casting out beautiful rays of light. In the center of the room was a circle shaped water fountain.

        Then I heard a door close to my right and looked down at a half circle shaped door. I walked down the grand staircase towards the door.

        The door had a beautiful archway with gems of all different colors over it. I opened the door a bit and peaked in.

        I saw a woman in front of me with a huge puffy black dress on. Past her was a girl that looked around 8 years old. She had long black hair with big baby blue eyes.

        I looked at my younger self sitting at a round wooden table in front of a enormous book. She was reading it so intently she didn't notice the lady in front of her.

        "Rose!" The lady barked out.

        "Aah!" My younger self cried out as she tipped the chair backwards. My younger self hit the floor and just lied there sprawled out.

        "Stand up!" The lady shouted. My younger self did as she was told and stood up.

        "So you've been reading the book," The lady said more calmly, "Have you learned at least one spell yet?" When the lady said that my younger self got really excited.

        "Yes! I did! See look!" She said while pointing to something on the page. The lady went around next to my younger self revealing what she looked like to me.

        Oh my gosh. I backed away from the door and tripped. I feel backwards on to the ground and just sat there dumbfounded. I stared at the lady next to my younger self. She had black hair like me except for it was a little bit lighter making it more of a very dark brown color. She had hazel eyes with beautifully perfect skin.

        My mother looked at what my younger self was pointing to then began to smile madly.

        " Show me" was what she said next before backing away. My younger self nodded and started enchanting something. All of a sudden the room darkened and creatures made up of shadows circled around my younger self.

        The lights flickered on and off. Then they shut off completely. A high pitched scream rang through the room echoing off of the walls.

        "Stop it!" My mother screamed.

        "Mom!" My younger self shouted. When different pitched voices started to laugh. Something flew past my head and I jumped upwards.

        " It's okay little one" A mysterious deep voice said. Then it started laughing.

        " Ya! It's okay! We won't hurt her!" A high pitched voice rang out followed by lots more laughing.

        " Stop it!" My younger self cried out over the laughing.

        " Why?" A voice asked.

        " Because... You're killing her!" My younger self sobbed out.
 My mother screamed again then fell to the floor.

        "Oppsy!" A voice cried out.

        "Mom!"

        I woke up screaming in a strange dark room.

        "Sakura!" Someone shouted as they came towards me.

        "Get away from me!" I screamed as I thrashed against something.

        "Calm down. It's Stein" A man said as he bent down and stroked my head. Stein... I think i've heard that name before. I thought as I started to calm down.

        "Shh" He said soothingly as he grabbed something off of a table. " It's OK. Go back to sleep." He told me as he shot me with a syringe. He pushed some sort of fluid into my arm and I started to feel sleepy.

        "Stein?" I whispered. He nodded his head and stroked my head again. Hmm. I'm glad I stopped using magic. Or else I would hurt people like Stein. But once I met him i've been using magic again without knowing it. Strange. I thought before I fell asleep.
