    (Melody's Pov)

I watched as we drove past houses, trees, and stores.  I looked over at my grandma she was humming to an older country song.

I smiled at the thought of her singing with me when I was young. I missed the good old days when I was younger I had nothing to stress over then.

We pulled up to her house it was a 2 story, light yellow house, and with a massive wrap-around porch.

I took out my suitcase from her trunk. My grandma looks at me and says, "Do you need any help dear?"

I shake my head no, she opens the door and when I walk in it smells like a pumpkin spice it brings me back to older memories with my family when everything was right.

I smile, my grandma says, "Your room is in the same spot but I had it redecorated for you." I smile and say "Thank you, grandma," and kiss her on her cheek.

She smiles at me. She says, "Melody, I'm very happy to have you home." I sigh trying not to remember that event. But I look at her and say", 'Me too Nana.'

As I walk up the stairs, I run my fingers over the wall thinking 'Dad I hope you can fix the mistakes you made."  I felt a teardrop from my eyes. I wipe my eyes and head into my room (Looks Like This.)

I smile in the room and think you still remembered Nana

I smile in the room and think you still remembered Nana. I put up my clothes. At the bottom of my suitcase are the picture frame and my book of memories. I pick up the picture and trace the shells.

I smile I remember that day everything seemed right until it all came crashing down on me.  I put it on my nightstand. I then look over to see my grandpa watching me, I smile at him and say, "What's up Gramps."

He smiles and walks towards me and hands me a box with a black ribbon on it.

I smile and say "Papas, you didn't have to get me anything." He just shakes his head and says "Just open it, my little bug." I slowly pull the ribbon and lift the lid off. I pull it up. ( It's This Below)
