One sunny afternoon, seven year old Liza and twelve year old Mya were playing in the backyard. The sisters were close, and loved each other very much.
"Liza! Something is at the door for you!" Yelled Racheal, the mother of the sisters.
"Coming mommy!" Responded Liza, who left her sister to play alone as she went inside to check the item awaiting her.
She opened the front door, seeing a fairly large box. It was almost bigger then she was! She looked on all sides of the box, but couldn't figure out what was inside. She tried to lift the box, but it was heavy. She had to call for her dad, Micheal, to help.
As her dad came to help Liza, Mya began to feel lonely. She wanted to play with her sister! She walked inside and went to see what her sister was doing, and saw the box that their dad was holding. She looked confused.
"Why did Liza get a box but not me, dad?" Mya asked, looking upset.
"Mom ordered her a special gift for her birthday. It just came a little late." He responded, going into Liza's room and putting the box on the floor.
Liza went into her room and inspected the box again. What could it be? She wondered, as Mya watched from the doorway.
Mya, who was older then Liza, had a little bit more strength. She walked into the room and took the box away from Liza, bringing it into her own room. "It's mine, you don't need it!" She said, as Liza started crying.
"Mommy! Daddy! Mya took my box!" Cried Liza, who ran after Mya for her box.
The parents never heard Liza or Mya shouting, so they never came to help. Liza has to get her box back on her own!
Liza sighed, storming into Mya's room. "Give me my box back!" She said, holding her hands out.
Mya giggled, holding the box above her head. "Or what? Mom and Dad are gonna come get me in trouble?" She asked, teasing her sister.
"Just give me the box back!" Shouted Liza, steeping forewords to make a grab for her box.
Just as she went to take her box back, Liza tripped and fell into her sister! Mya, who let go of the box to catch her sister, fell backwards into the floor.
The girls heard a thump, and looked to the side of them to see that the box had fallen onto the floor and broke open.
Liza, scared her sister broke the contents of the box, started crying. Mya got up, putting her sister down, and went to look into the box.
Inside was two beautiful, fairly large dolls wrapped in the box beautiful clothing that the girl had ever seen. She made sure the dolls weren't broken before looking at her sister.
"Stop crying, it's okay! Nothing is broken!" She said, worried.
Liza stopped crying, and went over to her sister. Mya handed her the dolls, looking upset.
"I'm sorry for taking your box. Your new dollies aren't broken though." She said softly, as Liza took the dolls from her sister.
Liza, who was quiet, looked at the dolls. She smiled, giving one to her sister. "Here, you can have this one. We can share them." She said.
Mya Smiles, and both the sisters sat down and decided to play with the dolls, together.
