I am nothing but a mere village girl in love with a prince.
I saw him.
Riding into my village looking as graceful as ever.
The first time I ever the eyes of the prince.
Everyone talked freely to him, while I kept my distance.
He kept visiting, which quite hard to ignore him.
Today in the village there is a pesky breeze.
I decided to go to the village market and buy myself the hat I had always wanted.
But just as I got the breeze whisked it away.
As I trotted after it I stopped flying.
As I got closer someone had already grabbed.
They picked it up and dusted it off.
I looked at the one I saw.......
The prince.....
He saw me and asked me if the hat was mine.
I slowly nodded, afraid to say anything.
He held the hat out towards me smile brightly.
I took my hat and bowed thanking him and ran off.
I made a horrible mistake allying for the prince.
I'm nothing but a mere village girl nothing more.
One day during work I began to care for the horses.
This one was new, for I have never seen it before.
I groomed and fed the horse.
As I walked out I saw the prince again, walking to the stable.
Could that have been his horse.
I hurried my pace afraid of what he will say.
I decided I couldn't keep my feelings inside anymore I had to let it out.
The secret love I held for the prince was now known by my friend.
She was surprised to hear it then smiled.
She told that he may fancy me as well.
I stood there in disbelief.
She told that she had seen him look my way and smile when I was around.
Could it be true?
Did the prince shared the same feeling I have?
I am left with so many questions.....
To be continued....
