The New Kid

Irene's POV

I swear I hear voices coming from the sewers saying "Lies, Lies, your life is a lie". After a while of  investigating I heard a big splash coming from outside the sewers. When I turned around I saw the new kid lying in the water with blood on his shirt and all over his face. When I saw him I immediately knew who had done this Henry Bowers the stupid, wanna bee, tormentor, dog, perverted, ugly, son of a--

"IRENE" Jacob s(h)napped me out of my thoughts, "we GoTtA gOOO."

"Oh right he's bleeding" I said running out the sewers getting on my bike.

For some reason I got to the bikes first before Jacob and Eddie and they weren't even helping the new kid, Even the new kid was on the bike and we were still waiting for them to get here.

You would think that because they wanted to leave to badly they would be the first ones here to leave. But of course because they are so difficult they had to be the last ones to the bikes.

While we were on our way to the pharmacy I was in the front and Eddie was in the back complaining about something. Honestly I wasn't paying any attention to him because after years of knowing each other I've learned to cancel out Eddie's constant rambling about germs and Richie's inappropriate comments.

Once we got to the pharmacy it was just my luck that I had to stay out side with Richie and the new kid.

"I'm glad I got to meet you before you died" Richie said

"RICHIE SHUT UP" I said hitting in the chest I looked at the new kid, "Ignore him he doesn't know when to shut his mouth"

"HEyy that's not true" Richie said

I looked at him with an "are you sure?" face. He looked down in defeat.

I looked at the new kid asking, "I never got your name new kid, what is it?"

"Ben, Ben Hanscome" the ne- Ben said

"Well Ben its nice to meet you I'm Irene and that trashmouth over there that you have sadly meet is Richie"

"Nice to meet you too" Ben said

When he said that he looked straight into my eyes and I swear that my heart rate picked up by so much. I could get lost in his eyes for- no stop you cant have a crush on someone you just meet. Can you?

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter I have been busy this week with a school event that's happening and lets just say that I am in the performance and im in the decorating committee. Anyways the performance is this Friday and this whole week I have rehearsal and meetings for both so I might post a short chapter like this again but I will try my hardest not to make it short. Hope you enjoyed this chapter I choose Ben as Irene's love interest cuz I mean do I have to explain myself. Bye Bye readers.
