( i know my blurb sucks but i am really bad at those things sorry!)

Hey well this would probably be the first story I have actually thought about rather then just put together a whole bunch of random things and hoped that it worked , so please forgive me if it doesn’t sound good as it is in some way my first story :)

And all the places mentioned in this book are made up cause I didn’t want to base it where I lived and I couldn’t decided where else and because I don’t know other country’s so well I just didn’t want to get a place wrong so I just made places up, I apologise in advance if the places don’t sound real  (as in there names ) so I’m going to shut up and let u read my story

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Stacy where is the bread?"

Really dad? It’s probably in you stomach or better yet in the toilet "Dad maybe next time we should you know... get an extra loaf of bread again..."

When he turns around his expression matched one of a lost puppy, “So there is no bread?”

"Obviously not Steve, why would we buy groceries if we aren't going to be here to have them?" I turn around to see my mum who oddly enough had two suit cases behind her both of which looked like they were going to explode

"Oh right, I remember now  I just forgot about it, sorry dear" I turn back around and raise my eyebrow at him "you mean to say that you forgot that you were going on holiday which you and mum both planned out?"

He rubs his chin as if he was actually thinking about it "yup sounds about right, so now that both of you's oh so kindly reminded me about this I will oh so kindly remind you that you need to pack you bags as well”

At that precise moment I wanted to go back in time and tell my self to not remind my dad about this trip, while I am allowed to go on this trip with them I decided my self that I will not go with them on a trip because while most family's have a nice and relaxed day , week or even month or however long they are on Holiday for , my family thinks that advertising there business, which sells shoes, on Holiday is a perfect idea , so why should I willingly go to another place just so that I can be bored and why spend more money on something that I can achieve in my own home.

Unfortunately my parents don't think that I am 'mature' enough to live alone for the whole summer even though I am 16 years old, so we agreed well it was more like they agreed on sending me over to my grandmothers house for the summer holidays, rather then us all having a shared discussion on this matter over a cup of coffee I just got given the information and told to deal with it.

And that's why right at this moment I am ringing up a taxi to give me a ride to my grandparent’s house

"Hey speedy taxi?" doing a double check on the paper in front of me to make sure I got the name correct even though I ring this number up every year, but who knows when destiny will decide to shower me with embracement by dialling the wrong number and talking as though I haven't.

"Yeah that’s us. Where do you need to go?" replied an old scratchy voice

Wow where did this dudes manners go? Out the window with his phone answering skills?

"Well I was wondering if I could have a taxi to travant please?" there was a bit of rustling on the phone before I got a reply

"Sure, we can get u a taxi in 3 days"

"Thanks, my add-" wait what!

"Excuse me?”

"Look ma’am we are really busy right know so we don’t have any taxi's which can drop you at your destination” this time his voice was laced with a little irritation

"Wait you mean to tell me that-" I didn't even get  to the end of my sentence before the line went dead, I swear this world has no respect for girls these days

For a moment I was ready to re-dial the number and give the man a piece of my mind when suddenly I realised that if I don’t have any means of transport then I won't get to my destination which means no grandma's house! not that I don’t like me grandma but spending a whole summer with no one but your grandma can get a tiny winy bit boring, and before anyone asks me "So you mean there is no one your age there?" I would like to confirm there are people my age only one slight problem... they have a life and go on vacation with there family's or friends as they don’t have a problem with that.

Okay so now to put my plan in action...

"Oh father dear!" I heard a groan in response and then a the sound of feet moving

"Okay before your excuse train comes rolling in, I would like to make it clear that there is no way you are getting out of this"

"Uhm I’m listening dad, but I don’t think I can walk all the way to Travant can I?”

"What do you mean 'walk' you can just take the taxi?"

"well when I just called they informed me that they were suddenly extremely busy, so the next taxi I can get is in 3 days and that’s a little point less because if I can stay at home for 3 days alone, then I’m sure I can live alone for 3 months cant I daddy dearest?" in return I was given a blank look before he erupted into laughter

I scrunched my eyebrows up in confusion "why are you laughing?"

"I’m laughing because you think that because of this excuse we will let you stay at home alone the whole summer?"

"Well yeah. Because if a company like speedy taxi's can get busy I’m sure every other place can to”

"True point, but I’m sure your mother can think of something to make sure you go" at that I would have given my dad a pat on the back as a reward for coming up with something as smart as that...Not saying he doesn’t do that often or anything

"Yes I’m sure I can" and twice in one day me and my dad turn around to spot the devil in disguise standing on the landing of the stairs again

And this is the part where I once again get no say what so ever in the decision made for me
