Once upon a time, Millie Bobby Brown had a heart.
Not that she didn't have a heart now, of course. It was broken into a million pieces and lay around her bed.
Crying, she walked into the girls bathroom and locked herself in a stall.
It was 6:30. Way before Angel would be here.
Sitting there she cried for at least twenty minutes.
After that she came outside, wiped her eyes and walked into the semi crowded hallway.
"Millie?"
Millie turned around. Griffin's best friend, Finn Wolfhard had saw her.
"Finn, I, um.."
"You don't have to explain, Mills. What's going on?"
A lot was going on.
Her dad had left. Her mom was an alcoholic. Her sister was suicidal.
Her best friend was a bitch.
Not that Millie didn't love Angel, of course. Sometimes she could be the exact opposite of her name though. And Millie needs to keep up her grades, not break into Target and get caught.
"A lot, Finn. A lot is going on."
"We're friends right? You can tell me, sweetheart."
Finn called everyone sweetheart. That's what hurt. Millie turned away from Finn.
"I just need to-,"
All of a sudden, Finn hugged her from the back.
"I'm here if you need me."
And he was gone.
