A Lovely Reunion

Chell's sense of time had warped since she left the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. It could've been days, weeks, months... Even years. But the girl didn't travel far. She couldn't - she had to drag her companion cube all along the way, which was difficult without aid from her Handheld Portal Device. Where she resided for now was one of Rattman's dens left behind from his past ventures. Where he had stayed last from his escape from Aperture many years ago; all there was, was a mattress. And a few empty cans of soup. She was living life modestly; still wearing her tank top - though the words Aperture Laboratories were faded, and her track suit instead got ripped into a neat pair of booty shorts. The matching jacket of which she never wore simply dangled from her waist, tied tightly.

Tonight has a quiet night.
And after a day of scavenging, she was quite tuckered. So she decided to cut it early. Her head rested on the mattress, and her last sight was one of the stars and vines that held up the fragmented ceiling. The make shift shelter was cozy. And so was Chell.

But her sleep was soon interrupted.

A familiar face of a core glowed onto her tan skin; a ghostly light emitted from his singular eye, and his hands - yes, he had hands - were placed strategically over her. One was by her head. The other gently cupped her cheek, if a handful of her gorgeous chestnut locks tucked beneath his fingers. His hold was rough. And his new... Robotic. 7ft tall body hung over her, the aperture science insignia was branded onto the chest plate. His singular eye had narrowed to a conniving squint; and his charming voice rung out, breaking the calm night air and ambiance: "Hello, 'luv... Missed me?"

Chell's jaw dropped. Her eyes scanned the bulk of a man that was over her; his core was just crudely stuck on a more eloquent, humanoid body. One with actual limbs - it was incredible.  But mighty intimidating. Her pale green eyes had soon met his singular blue; her face carried many questions that she was unable to voice. How did you get here? Aren't you supposed to be floating in space right now? How did you get that body!?  Wheatley knew he would have such a cherished effect on her, so he continued his burbling. Innocently stroking her cheek - now that he could. A human's face felt... Smooth. Soft. He was honestly expecting it to feel more pudgy than that. His lack of understanding the human concept of personal space, however, irked her silently. "I've spent a long time up there thinking about what I'm going to do to you. A long time. Can't even fathom the numbers here since I ran out of storage - And I have a lot of storage. I don't even know how many times I had to reset myself - but the memories. Ohhhhhh the memories. They remain. And I always wake up from a reboot knowing that YOU were the reason for why I was stuck up there! With an idiot! Who kept on yelling SPpAAaaaAAAAaaaaCCCEEEeeE every five bloody seconds! Do you know... Do you know how much I loathe you?" His increase in an aggressive tone had Chell backing up to the wall, but he snatched her up and cradled her in his strong metallic arms. She wasn't going anywhere; "Now, now, 'luv! Can't have you crawling away, can I? We have sooo much to talk about. Wait. Actually, I think I have made my point. So you know what, sweetheart? Let's skip... To my favorite part. The part where I kill you." Struggling in his grasp, Chell emitted a few cute squeals in defiance, but there was no portal gun. No moon dust. No gel. Nothing. But as he yelled out to what would be the last words Chell would ever hear - "Okay, new body! Activate the Deadly Neurotoxin!"  - There was a metal clank. The panel that covered his pelvic region had fallen, revealing a circular shaped hole in the metal. And then... silence. Then more silence. It was terribly awkward. "Huh, was there no neurotoxin in there? Well... This is a bit... Embarrassing, haha..." He still kept Chell irrefutably close to his chest, not suffocating her but in a solid grip. It loosened slightly when he finally had a Eureka! Moment "Aha! Found it -" Wheatley shoved her body hard onto the mattress, crawling above the girl once more. "Again! New body! Activate the Deadly Neurotoxin!" She closed her eyes in despair - she was going to die but then... Nothing. Well, there was something. A strange hollow gelatinous, but solid tube had flung itself out of the supposed Neurotoxin Dispatch hole. One that was... Phallic and floppy. Transparent and particularly sensitive. It flopped against her belly, and Chell looked down at it, and then to Wheatley's 'face' with an expression easily read as "What the hell?"
