Last period of the day and still got no text from Calum about Luke. Damnit! Please just please let Calum tell me nothing's ever gonna change between him and I when Luke gets here.
Bell rang and there you have it! The day is over and yet not a word from Calum. Ugh I need to go home..
"Molly!" Someone says
I looked behind and you guessed it. Its Calum.
"Well look who finally decided to show" I tell him
"I'm sorry, I was just too busy today. You know since we didn't go to school yesterday? My assignments and projects had to be passed today or else I'll get a zero." He explains to me
"Oh right, I'm sorry.. You could've gone to school yesterday without me you know" I said
"Well, it wouldn't be the same" he smiled and winked at me
"Oooh I'm flattered" I said jokingly
"Oh! Oh! Oh! By the way, I got some exciting news for you!!" He said with the biggest dorky-smile on his face
Here it comes... The moment I've been waiting for... Luke.
"I'm pregnant" Calum says
We both laughed and I punched him on his shoulders
"Ow!" He says still laughing
"Stop joking around, this is a serious country. We need to be serious here." I tell him
"Haha, okay okay. Here it goes... You know my best friend Luke?" He starts
"Yes, he's been on the news all day" I said
"What do you mean?" Calum asks
"Well, I've heard people talking bout him all day, apparently" I said
"Oh well, HE'S COMING BACK!" Calum says and hugged me
He's so happy about his best friend coming back... I guess he really doesn't need me anymore.
"Really? Yay.." I tried to fake a smile
Calum looked at me with a confused face
"Okay, um what's wrong Molly?" He asked
Oh, nothing. Its just that um YOUR BEST FRIEND IS COMING BACK HERE AND AS YOUR TEMPORARY BEST FRIEND, ILL BE GONE IN A BLINK OF AN EYE.
"Nothing, I'm happy for you" this time, I tried my hardest to smile.
"Oh, great! And guess what, I'll be picking him up at the airport tonight!" He says again smiling
"Mhm, well, um Calum? I really need to go home.. So um bye." I tell him as I walk away.
Luckily, he doesn't follow me. Seems odd saying goodbye to him. It feels like that was really goodbye , well that's just life, they come and go..
I arrived home and went to my room. I looked at the pictures I took of Calum on my phone when we were in that beach.. He was really fun and sweet..
I remembered when he was laughing at me and I took his photo at that moment and he said he'll kill me if I put it on the internet.. He forced me to delete it but I didn't. He was just too adorable in that picture and I couldn't possibly delete that kind of picture. I decided to make that picture his contact picture. And right when I clicked OK, he texted me.
