Here I was, at X factor, only two years after I auditioned, but this time, I'm watching. I was looking forward to the acts.

We were sitting in our seats when they began to announce the next audition for the next seat.

All of a sudden 8 boys came onto the stage. Two blondes and the rest being brunettes. (A/N I'm not sure if that's right, but that's what it looked like to me back then, so sorry if it's wrong)

They had the crowd roaring before they even started to sing, but I kept my eyes on the one blonde at the start of the line.

Then they started to sing. The crowd began to roar even more as the eight boys began to sing Leona Lewis' Run.

My friend who was with me for the night and I both shot out of our seats and began to sing along as this was our favorite song.

The crowd around us mobbed the edge of the stairs and my friend and I both got caught in the crowd.

Suddenly, I was somehow at the edge of the stage, and without Maddie, my friend.

The voices of the boys were all really close and I turned around to find them all singing at the edge of the stage.

The one blonde and I caught eye contact and when he noticed my feared expression when he got the chance he asked me quickly, "Are you okay."

I shook my head and he told me to hold on quickly and quietly before going back to his audition with everyone else.

I went back to looking for Maddie not finding her anywhere in sight, and I started to panic.

Soon everyone was jumping and screaming and I turn around to find that the boys had finished their audition and were waiting to see if they were to get the next seat.

The blonde kept his eyes on me while awaiting.

Time slowed as the announcement was made. All of the boys started to jump as they had gotten the second seat.

As the crowd dispersed I finally was loosened from the tight hold of the crowd.

There was a hand on my shoulder suddenly and I turned around to find the blonde boy from earlier.

"Are you okay," He asked again, this time louder as he wasn't stuck singing with his band.

"Reece, what are you doing," One of the other boys asked him.

"Charlie, I'll be back in a second," He answered him.

"I'm fine, just a little panicked, as I lost my friend when the crowd swarmed," I answered him as he turned around to face me again.

"Do you want me to help you find her, or do you think you'll be okay," Reece asked me.

"Please?" I asked him with more of a question tone.

"I'm Reece by the way," He said sticking his hand out for me to shake.

"I know, your friend Charlie just said about a minute ago," I said while shaking his hand, "But, I'm Becky."

"Well, Becky, I'll help you but it'll have to be hopefully quickly as I should be on the stage," Reece said as he laughed a bit.

"I figured," I answered while laughing.

"Do you have your phone by any chance," Reece asked me.

I nodded my head and took it out as he asked me to give it to him.

"So is your name short for Rebecca or is it just Becky," He asked while he also asked for my friends name quickly.

"No, my real name isn't Becky, you're right, it's actually short for Rebecca." I answered him as he helped me calm my breathing a bit.

I saw him click on Maddie's contact and call her as his hand found the small of back and begin to rub small circles to keep my calm.

He was looking around the crowd to see if we could find her. When I suddenly heard him start talking.

"Hi, is this Maddie," I heard him ask, "No, I'm Reece a, er, friend, of Becky's, where are you by any chance, so we can find you," He asked into the phone.

"Yeah, yeah, we're on our way, well Becky's on her way," He answered while he ended the phone call and handed me my phone back after putting his number in.

"She's at the entrance waiting for you, I gave you my number in case you needed anymore help being saved by a prince charming," He said very cheekily.

"Ha ha," I laughed very sarcastically, "Thank you though, Reece, if you hadn't have come I probably would have panicked and something terrible probably would have happened," I told him.

Reece nodded his head and brought me into a hug as we said our goodbyes and he went back to the stage while I went to the entrance to find Maddie.

I saw her waiting at the entrance as we both ran to each other and shared a hug.

"Oh my gosh, I was so worried that you had fainted from a panic attack until I got that call from that friend of yours Reece, who by the way sounds very cute by the sound of his voice," my friend Maddie said all in a rush.

I pulled away from the hug laughing.

"You better have gotten his number by the way, also, do you want to go back, or head in for the night," Maddie asked me.

"Okay one, he gave me his number, and two, I wanna go back but I think it's best if we headed home," I answered her.

"Oh my gosh, he gave you his number," she asked me shocked while we began to walk out of the building to our uber car waiting for us.

I nodded my head while laughing at her reaction, "To his words exactly, 'I gave you my number in case you needed anymore help being saved by a prince charming,'" I told her while laughing.

"Oh my gosh, that's so cute," She told me as she opened her door on the passengers side of the back seat of our uber.

"Yeah I guess," I said while sliding into the front passenger's seat (A/N sorry if that's confusing, when I wrote this earlier it made it sound like they could drive until I realized that would be confusing as they would be like 14-15 here).

"So like, who exactly is this Reece guy," She asked me as our uber started the car and drove out of the parking lot.

"Okay, so you know the boy band of eight boys," I started until I was cut off of her.

"Wait, you mean the boy band of those cute eight boys, ONE OF THE THEM HELPED YOU, OMG WHICH ONE WAS REECE," she said as she got more and more excited with each word.

I laughed at Maddie's antics, "Reece was the blonde one at the very front of the line," I answered.

"Oh my gosh, he was the cutest of them all, and looked like our age too," she answered me.

"I don't think Reece is the same age as us, but go off, he might be like 1-2 years older than us, he looked like 16-17," I told her.

Maddie looked down sadly but soon perked back up, "Still young enough for you to date, teehee," she told me.

We both laughed together and talked more about our night, our uber driver was definitely annoyed and wanted to kill us both, but we both made it safely home excusing the fact that we yelled and screeched when I got a text from Reece.

Unknown Number: Hey, it's Reece your knight in shining armor here, just checking to make sure you found Maddie and are okay.

Becky: Hey Reece, don't remember giving you my number but go off, also, I'm fine Maddie and I are safe and sound at home my prince charming.

Reece's Pieces 🍫♥️: Okay, also, Charlie gave me your number believe it or not, something about being your cousin.

Becky: Oh yes, Charlie, didn't know it was that Charlie in your band, but yes Charlie is a cousin I have.

Reece's Pieces🍫♥️ : Okay, well I have to get going, have a good night :)

Becky: You too Reece :)

Boy did I not know what this friendship would lead too in the next coming months.
