Jyushimatsu x Depressed! Reader

Its absolutely worthless to wake up today, you didn't even know why you decided to get up from your bed rather than just stay there and slowly die of starvation.

You open the cupboards to find no cereal left, you look in the fridge and realize you don't have food.

You weren't that sad about it, besides you were going to plan on killing yourself one day so why not now? It might take a while though.

You didn't have any money, so even if you did want to eat, you weren't able to afford it.
You knew this was a bad thing to do, to commit suicide, so you tried to think of the reasons why you shouldn't do this.

The reason why I should be in this world...... why can't I think of one.....?

After what felt like hours, you gave up and knew there was no hope for you in this world and nobody needed you so why stay?

You lay down on your couch as you feel your stomach growl. Then the phone rings, you picked it from your pocket and checked to see who was calling you.

The only person in your life that you could think of that would care so much to call you was.....

J-Jyushimatsu......

You forgot all about Jyushimatsu, you picked up the phone and did your best I'm healthy voice

"Hey Jyushimatsu!" You faked a giggle.
"(Y/N)! How's it going??" You hear his sweet, gentle voice from the other line.

"Good, you?" You lied.
"Good aswell! I'm just glad you're getting better with your—ummm, ya know" He chuckled awkwardly.

"Yeah, I'm glad I'm getting better too!"

Except you're not

"Hey (Y/N)? Do you mind if I go to your house today? I wanna practice baseball with you!" He laughs, your eyes widened.

"Oh....uuhhh, can't you just practice by your house? Heh, you know how your brothers feel when you hang out with me" You say as you start to sweat. You didn't want Jyushimatsu to see a mess like you.

"Hmmmm....naahh, I wanna visit you! Pretty pleaaasseee????" He begged.
"No, Jyushi you really shouldn't" You say as politely, your tired voice starts to show.

But he already hung up, and like a lighting dash, someone knocked on your door.

It shocked you so much that you almost fell off your couch. You rub your eyes as fast as you can so you wouldn't look as tired.

You crack open the door slightly and see none other than the sunshine himself.
"Hai!" He smiled, you sigh and forced a smile.

"H-hello Jyushimatsu, please, can you give me a moment to change?" You say softly, he nods as he holds his bat over his shoulder.

You close the door and started biting your lip, you feel like crying.

I can't let him be disappointed in me too....

You look at your skinny arms again and just picture how Jyushimatsu would just grab your arm and see how skinny it was, like a twig.

Jyushimatsu has been trying to help you with your depression lately, it would've helped if you actually do as he says but you haven't been.

You've just been lying to him so much about how your getting better when in reality, you're worse than ever.

You change into something that makes you not look so skinny, you decided on a poofy sweater. Even if the weather is sunny today, you had to hide all this ugliness.

You went outside and see Jyushimatsu already swinging his bat infront of your house, you sat by your porch and admire how healthy he is. He must have muscles right? He practically practices swinging almost all the time so it would be obvious he has muscles.

After 20 minutes, Jtushimatsu stopped swinging his bat and looks over at you.

"Here (Y/N)! Now its your turn to swing!" He smiled.
"Oh, no its okay Jyushimatsu, I'll just stay here and watch you...." You waved your hand slightly at him.

"Aww come onnn, pleaaseee?!" He begged on his knees at you, his eyes were so adorable.

"I.....okay...." You forced a smile, you felt like you've just failed your mission, you can barely walk. Your stomache is almost eating your insides because of how hungry you are

You take the bat from Jyushimatsu, it feels so heavy, was it always this heavy before?
It really wasn't the bat was heavy, it was you, you were the one thats too weak to hold the thing. You start to wonder how the Hell are you gonna swing the bat if you can barely hold it?

You try to lift up the bat as Jyushimatsu watches you happily in awe, his smile wide with excitement. Your tears start to drip as your hand jerked and dropped the bat as it hits the ground.

You fell to your knees and sobbed.

"(Y/N)?!" Jyushimatsu called out to you and hugged you tight.
"What's wrong?" He whispered in your ear.

"I'm sorry Jyushi.....the t-truth is I just haven't been getting better lately, I've been the worst today, if it wasn't f-for your call earlier this m-morning..... I would've....." You couldn't finish your sentance and start to cry in his shoulders

"Its okay (Y/N), I'll always be here whenever you need me......I understand why you would lie to me and I'm not mad about it" He said with a soft voice, you rest your head against his chest.

There was a long silence between the two of you before Jyushimatsu spoke up.

"Boku no ai shitemasu...." He said with a tint of pink in his cheeks

"Heh, watashi mo anata o aishitemasu..." You replied back

Now, I remember the reason why I should be in this world. It's because I have someone who loves me, someone who's hugging me in their arms righth now.
