"this has been the most uneventful week of my life." i say, slumping down next to Danny. "No kidding." he says typing away on his IPad. "Pauls still sleeping?" Danny asks. i nod and turn the TV on. "oh Spongebob. your my life." i say. Danny laughs. "Your town is so boring." he says. " i know." i say not taking my eyes off of the screen. "i hate to say it but im missing Maryland." i say. Danny nods.
Soon Paul comes out rubbing his eyes of sleep. "morning sleeping beauty." i say with a smile. Paul laughs and bends down to kiss me. he sits next to me wrapping his arm around me. i take off his snapback and place it on my head. "i want to keep this." i say. "nope." Paul says sticking out his tounge playfully and snatching it off of my head. "your no fun." i say sticking out my lower lip. Danny sighs. "im going to go shower." he says leaving. "we should leave tomorrow." i say. "you want to?" Paul asks. "theres nothing left for us to do, none of my friends seem to care about me, so lets just go." i say. Paul sighs. "ok, we'll go." he says.
the next morning we pile back into Pauls car and head back home to Maryland. my mom was probably either to drunk to function or out with her stupid boyfriend. this pains me to think about it, so i dont. i whipe away a few tears that managed to find a way out of my eyes. "hey, whats wrong?" Paul asks. "huh, oh nothing." i say. "babe, whats wrong?" Paul asks again."just thinking about some stuff." i say. he nods and turns back to focusing on the road.
