"Oh hey....".
I couldn't even compose a single sentence to save myself from embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry", I said after what seemed like an hour, "I thought you were my brother".
"It's fine, I'm Jason". He said extending his hand for a shake.
"Kim, Kim Cole". I said and wacked myself mentally as I shook his hand.
"So, you here for tryouts?"
"That obvious huh, I'm freaking out". I said and rubbed my palms against my jeans.
"I'm sure you'd be great and outstanding".
I raised my brows wondering what that meant.
"I saw your hair from a mile back". He said and laughed.
I joined him laughing, "Thanks, it's natural".
"Wow, that's cool".
I smiled gently and looked at my shoes. Catching myself slowly going back to my old ways, I looked up immediately and stared at the auditions.
"Just a tip". He said and leaned closer to me.
"Keep it simple, short but real and also....". He said and tucked a strand of her behind my ear. "You see that guy over there with the red shirt-"
"Yeah". I said and looked away, desperately trying to hide a blush.
"That's Mr Ross, if you see him tapping the table, you are good".
I turned and couldn't help a smile.
Jason had this easygoing vibe around him.
Don't get me started on the wild, mischievous eyes and perfect hair and those lips.....Goddd how I wanted to.....
"Kim?"
"Huh?" I said snapping out of my perverted mind.
"It's your turn".
"Oh thanks". If only you knew what I did to you in my head.
Lord forgive me.
"I'll stay till your done". He said.
I smiled and left.
Here's what happened.
I almost had a heart attack, there's just something about being center stage that kills.
The wild pounding and your brain stops working.
Thankfully I pulled through and delivered the scene where Victoria comes back to hunt Bella perfectly. I mean I kinda did look pretty evil.
I also finished on time and received a warm applause.
It was nice.
I walked towards a smiling Jason.
"Wow, okayyy now that was definitely something".
"Thank you".
"First day and you have this much fans, took me my second day and it was for rebellion". He said and gave me that mischievous look again.
I smiled genuinely.
"Well I have a very important business, so I have to get going".
"Sure, thanks for your tip".
"I'll see you tomorrow".
I smiled as he left.
I won't lie, I really enjoyed his company, if only my stupid brain and mouth could coordinate.
Urghhh.
"Okay Valerie are we both seeing the same thing?"
I turned to see Valerie and Alexia looking lost.
"What are you guys seeing?"
"Girl we leave you for few minutes and you're already pals with the schools coolest guy". Alexia replied.
