Prank....or not

Brennen's pov
I woke up and rolled over to face Alex.
She was still peacefully sleeping. I got up and got clothes so I could take a shower. "Where you going?" Alex mumbled.
"I'm gonna shower, baby."
"Okay. Love you."
"I love you too," I said walking into the bathroom. I undressed and hopped in the shower. I got out when I realized there were no towels. I sighed and poked my head out the door. "Babe."
"Hmm?"
"I need a towel."
"Hold on." She walked in the bathroom and handed me a towel. I wrapped it around my waist.
"Thank you, beautiful." She nodded. "Come here." She walked over to me. I shook my head so I splashed her with water. She flipped me off and walked out of the bathroom. "I mean, I'm not gonna say no," I said chuckling.
"Shuch up." I walked into the room and went over to the dresser. I pulled out clothes and started getting dressed. "What time is it?"
"11 I think."
"Okay."
"You feel okay?"
"I'm tired."
"Why don't you go back to bed, baby?"
"Wake me up before we have to leave."
"I will, beautiful." She walked back over to the bed and flopped down. I laughed at how cute she was and walked to the twins' room to check on them. They were quietly watching OHSHC and talking to each other. I shut their door quietly and walked downstairs.
"Morning, Brennen," Luke said as he and Del were cooking breakfast.
"Morning, Luke, Del. What time does Alex have to be up for her appointment?"
"It's the same time as the others. I'm surprised she's still asleep."
"Well, she did wake up but I told her to go back to bed. She looked so tired."
"Not surprising. She's been recording and editing so much."
"She does way too much."
"I feel like it's my fault. If I actually made sure her babysitter showed up, she wouldn't be as bad with doing everything for everyone."
"Hun, stop it. There's nothing that can be done now, besides being with her," Del said hugging Luke. Luke hugged him back nodding. Sam walked downstairs and looked at Luke.
"Morning, Dad," he said and then continued to the living room. Luke tilted his head. We all stood there confused.
"What?" Sam walked back into the kitchen.
"What?"
"Why'd you say that?"
"Well, Alex said I was her brother so..."
"Haha figures." We all laughed. "Welp, Del, we have another child." Jon laughed.
"What's one more?"
"Anyway, Brennen or Sam, can one of you at least wake Alex up to eat? Then she can go back to bed." Sam nodded as he head upstairs. He came back down with a sleepy Alex. "Alex, get something to eat," Luke said. She nodded as she grabbed a plate and got some food. I walked over to her.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. I finally have enough videos to publish so no one wonders where I went."
"Okay, baby."
"I need to talk to you about something later on." I nodded.
"Dad, this is the one time you cooked pretty decent."
"Wow thanks," he said rolling his eyes playfully. I smiled.
"Love you."
"I love you too, Alex." She finished eating, pushing her plate out of the way, and laid her head on the table. I stood behind her, massaging her shoulders.
"Thank you, B."
"Of course, baby."
"It's only 11:30. Alex, go back to bed. We'll wake you up at about 2:00." She nodded and walked back upstairs.
"I feel like the doctor is going to have a lot to say," Del said.
"I can't wait to find out if Spencer is a girl or boy. I'm so excited," I said.
"Which would you rather have?" I thought for a moment.
"I've always wanted a little girl, but all I truly want is a happy and healthy baby." Luke nodded. Logan came downstairs.
"Where's Alex?" she asked.
"Sent her back to bed." She nodded.
"I have a few baby things for you guys later."
"Okay."
"Who all is going to the appointment today?"
"Whoever wants to."
"Well, I want to," Logan and Sam said.
"I'm not missing this," I said. I already knew Luke was probably going.
"I'm going," Del said. Luke nodded.
"Bish, you better believe Mama Marcel is coming," Marcel said walking in the kitchen.
"Is everyone going?" Luke asked laughing.
"Dude, more than half of us would get kicked out for doing something stupid."
"Trust me, I know," Luke said. We laughed.
"I'm gonna go check on the twins," I said walking upstairs. I opened their door and water fell on my head. "Damnit." The twins started laughing.
"Yay we got you."
"You sure did. You guys having fun?"
"Yep!"
"How did you get it up there?"
"Alex."
"Of course." I sighed. "I'll get her back later."
"You have-"
"To get-"
"Through us first."
"I can pick you both up." They looked at each other and nodded. They threw water balloons full of pudding at me and ran. I sighed and walked to Alex and I's room. I opened the door quietly so I didn't wake Alex up. She woke up a little and laughed when she saw me. "You're an ass," I said walking to the bathroom.
"But you love me."
"Of course I do, but damn. Water and pudding?"
"Pudding was their idea."
"But you helped with the water."
"I know." I went over to her and kissed her.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I'm gonna get in the shower. Again."
"Have fun." I climbed in the shower and washed my hair and body. I heard the door open and close.
"Hello?"
"It's me...Mr. poop before I pee. Oh hey."
"She gon drop that günth today and pick it up for me." Alex busted out laughing. "You okay, baby?"
"Yes, just bored and can't go back to sleep."
"I'm sorry, love."
"It's fine." I turned off the shower and leaned against the wall for a minute.
"You good?"
"Yeah I just have a headache."
"Go take something for it." I shook my head.
"It'll go away."
"Brennen, you should take something for it. They don't always just go away." I sighed.
"I'm gonna wait a bit. I haven't even eaten yet."
"I thought you ate earlier?" I shook my head.
"I got a shower, checked on the twins, went downstairs, and then you came down. You ate and came back up. Then, I went to check on the twins and got covered in water and pudding." She nodded. "Oh Logan said she had some stuff to give us."
"Okay. I'll be back I need to go take my medicine." I nodded and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around my waist once again. I checked the time and noticed it was 1:30. I got dressed and walked downstairs. Alex handed me some food, a drink, and some excedrin. I smiled at her.
"Baby, you didn't have to do this."
"I did it anyway." I groaned.
"Baby, you do way too much." She rolled her eyes a little. "Don't be like that," I said pecking her cheek. She smiled slightly and went to get ready. "I'm so nervous," I said looking at Luke.
"It's normal to be nervous."
"But oh my god."
"Look, you can ask Del. I was exactly like this with Logan." Del nodded.
"It was actually really adorable. He was so scared and rambled the whole time."
"So, Alex gets that from you?"
"Heh yeah."
"She's so fucking cute."
"Who's cute?" Alex asked walking back in the kitchen.
"You," I said walking up to her.
"Nope."
"Yes you are." She smiled
"Alright everyone who's going come on it's 2:30," Luke said. Luke, Del, Sam, Marcel, Smii7y, Colby, Logan, and I got into the cars. We headed to the doctor and checked in. We sat down and waited to be called back.
"I can't wait to see my niece," Logan said excitedly.
"How are you sure it's a girl?"
"I already told you."
"Uh okay," Marcel said.
"Patterson!" the nurse called. We got up and followed the nurse back. "Brought the whole family?" she asked Alex.
"I had no choice." The nurse laughed and took us to the room.
"The doctor will be in shortly," she said shutting the door. Alex started shaking her leg. I put my hand on her thigh.
"It's okay, baby," I said rubbing my thumb in circles. She smiled as the doctor walked in.
"Hello, Alex. Are you excited?" the doctor asked.
"Yes."
"Okay I'm going to have you lay on the table and lift your shirt up." Alex did what the doctor told her. "Okay, first I'm going to feel around. Let me know if anything hurts even the slightest bit, okay?" she asked putting gloves on.
"Alright." She started feeling around Alex's stomach.
"Anything hurt?"
"Nope."
"That's great. Your bump is a beautiful shape and looks good," she said inspecting Alex. "Are there any cats at home?"
"No." She nodded.
"Are you getting around well? Have you been struggling with anything?"
"Yes. Just a little stress. So far I've had two really bad anxiety attacks."
"Okay and what caused these anxiety attacks?" I saw Logan shrink down and fiddle with her fingers. The doctor noticed this. She nodded. "Stress needs to be eliminated. It's not good for you or your baby."
"I know." The doctor pulled the ultrasound machine over to Alex.
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah."
"It's gonna be cold," the doctor said putting the jelly on Alex's stomach. She turned the screen so that everyone could see. "Okay, there's the head. Has there been any kicking yet?"
"No." She nodded.
"Well, get ready for it. There are the feet," she said pointing at the monitor.
"Oh that must be fun times, right?"
"Sure," she said laughing. "I don't see a penis, so you're having a baby girl." Everyone looked at Logan.
"What?"
"Stop creepily being right." She laughed.
"Can't help it." Everyone laughed.
"There she is," the doctor said pointing to the screen. Spencer had her mouth and her eyes open. I held Alex's hand as I smiled. She's so beautiful. They both are. Alex had tears in her eyes. A tear slipped down my face. Luke looked like he was going to cry too. "I took a few pictures. I'll go print them out for you. Here's a towel to wipe your stomach," she said handing Alex a towel. I took it and gently started wiping Alex's stomach as the doctor walked out. Alex smiled.
"I'm so excited, baby girl."
"Me too." The doctor came back in and handed the pictures to Alex.
"Thanks, Doc." She nodded.
"We'll see you again in a month, Alex. Take it easy." We all left and drove home. Alex was looking at the pictures. We got home and went inside.
"I'm going back to sleep." I laughed.
"Okay, baby, I'll come up soon."
"Alright. I'm going to check on the twins first." I nodded and kissed her cheek.
She headed upstairs. "Alright, guys, we really need to make sure nothing stressful happens around Alex. Goes for everyone," Luke said. Logan ran upstairs and Colby followed behind her. Luke sighed. Colby came storming downstairs and walked out the front door, slamming it shut.
"What the hell?" I shook my head.
"I have no clue."
"Go make sure Alex is asleep. If I see her doing more things, I'm going to lock her in the tree house." I laughed slightly.
"Good," I said heading upstairs. Alex was walking out of the twins' room. "Hey, baby. Ready to go lay down?"
"Yeah the twins are asleep." I nodded and we walked to our room and laid down. Alex immediately went to sleep. I rubbed her stomach and fell asleep soon after.
