Desdemona's POV
I was laying on my bed while my best friend Tyler pet my hair. I was half asleep but then I heard the door to my room open slowly. I tensed up and Tyler must have noticed because he whispered "It's alright. It's just Ms.K." but it wasn't just Ms.K, it was two other people. I got nervous again, I knew someone was going to get adopted. Then Tyler said "Do you think we'll get adopted?" "No." I said in return "have a little hope." He said. I just stayed silent. Then Ms.K came up to us and said "Here she is." My eyes widened are they going to adopt me? But who in there right mind would want to have me as there kid. I rolled over in my bed to look at the people. I was surprised to see two boys. One of the boys had freckles,blue eyes,brown hair and a dark blue shirt that had stars on it. He had a big smile on his face when I looked into his eyes I could tell he was a very kind and caring person. The other man had glasses,brown eyes,black hair,and a white dress shirt and a pink tie. He had a straight face (unlike him) but when I looked into his eyes I saw a nice,smart,caring man but I still don't trust them. "This is Cuin." She gestures to the boy that was smiling "Hi!" "And this is Alden." She gestures to the boy with the pink tie "Pleased to meet you." "They are here to adopte you." She smiled sympathetically at me. I hated it. I looked back at the two men. Cuin starred right at me with an idiotic smile."Don't you think she's cute!" He said to Alden. I turned away hiding my face in Tyler's chest. "Yes but I think your making her uncomfortable " he stated "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry."
I still said nothing I wasn't in the mood to talk so Tyler answered for me "Its ok. She's fine." "Alright. Tyler why don't you go and pack Desdemona's bag?" Ms.K asked. Tyler nodded and wisberd "Come on you have to get off." I groaned and got off him moving to the other side of the bed. Cuin sat down next to me. Soon Tyler was done packing my stuff and I got up,took the bag and went to the door to my bedroom. My new parents following behind me.
So this was my first chapter to this book I know it's not good like at all but I hoped you enjoyed it
