This was it I thought stepping out of the carriage. I look around stunned, everything was so big. So many beautiful flowers and tree and of course the gigantic palace standing before me. Approaching comes an older gentleman, presumably the butler. "Good evening madam, may I escort you inside"? I nod and smile, not showing my disappointment that "he" had not come to greet me. We head inside and I follow the butler upstairs and through two double doors. I look around stunned. "Everything is so big and fancy here". I say. The butler smiles. "Only the best for the prince and his guests". I smile, blushing slightly. The butler notices. "He is momentarily indisposed, otherwise he would have happily greeted you today". I nod. "Its fine, Id much rather have your company anyway". He laughs. "Ah my dear how my heart grows with love for you already, you are going to fill this palace with so much life and happiness". I giggle. "Thank you". "Well I will let you get settled in, the prince will surely come and greet you tonight if not tomorrow morning, if theres anything you need let me know". I smile, thanking him as he leaves closing the double doors. I sigh happily, looking around the room. My own room, massive bed. I smile with glee, jumping on the bed. I lay there, peacefully.
I awaken in darkness, I sit upwards. Realizing I must have slept for some time, I turn on the lamp next to my bed, on the nightstand and see the clock. Three am it reads. Standing up I decide to take off my dress and change into my nightgown. Suppose the prince won't be showing until morning, nevertheless I will be as proper and sweet as I was raised. I open my suitcase to find my nightgown, unable to concentrate I take my dress off before finding my nightgown. "Ah where is it?, I need to get out of this corset". I mutter to myself. I feel a sudden shiver go through me, like a presence was forcing to be heard. I suddenly see a dark figure by the corner, stepping forward, revealing the prince. I go pale and franticly grab my dress, trying to cover myself as best as I could. He chuckles. "I could help you with that my lady". I blush, but get defensive. "T-thank you my prince but I-I can manage". He smiles, coming closer. I could feel his dark blue eyes piercing my soul. "Im sorry what was that"? He says, slightly mockingly. I raise an eyebrow, getting a little confident now. "Im very capable to dress myself, thank you prince but would you mind giving me some privacy"? He smirks, stepping even more closer. "I do mind yes". I scoff and look at him, waiting for him to leave. Once I realize that he wasn't going anywhere, I decide to just put my dress back on. I could see the lust in his eyes as I put on the dress, revealing my figure in the corset, if only for a second. I blush lightly, and decide to tour the palace, since I probably wouldn't be able to sleep now. I head to the door. "Where are you going"? He asks. I look over to him. "Im going to tour the palace, I'm not very tired anymore". He raises an eyebrow. "Alright just stay inside". I look at him confused but nod. I open the doors and head down the stairs. I know the prince said not to go out, but it sounds so intriguing to figure out why. Maybe he had a special surprise out there for me. I grin and quietly open the entrance doors, eager to find out.
Id walked slowly down the gardens, barely seeing anything. I see a tiny light near a pond, I head towards it. As I get nearer I feel the same shiver run through me. I shake it off, "ugh what is that", I think, slightly nerved. Now being by the pond, I notice the light was gone. I shrug and sit by the pond, smiling. I was always a night owl. I loved being out and about when it was so quiet and peaceful. Suddenly I'm pushed against the tree, I gasp shocked. I see who's holding me against the tree. Its a man, but somehow he looked like he was more. I couldn't figure it out. "Hello dear and who are you"? He asks. "I-I, my name is Elena". His eyes sparkle. "Ah the famous Elena, the prince hasn't stopped talking about you, but my he has not done you justice, you are truly one of a kind dear". He grins, interested. Looking a little too interested, I decide to get me out of this situation, or at least try. "You know the prince"? He nods. "Of course". I nod. "And who are you exactly"? He smirks. "Theres not need for my name dear, just call me your guardian angel". I couldn't help but laugh, as I see his face I realize that, that might not have been my best response. "Im sorry". He nods. "Apology accepted". I smile, slightly. "Can you please let me go"? I say, still stuck against the tree. He takes a few seconds, before answering. "I would, but I have to protect you". I raise an eyebrow. "Protect me from what"? He looks at me and leans in, I back my head away as much as I can. "From him". He whispers. "From who". I ask, rather loudly. He puts his hand above my mouth. "Shoo not so loud". I struggle, trying to free myself but he tightens his grip. "We can't discuss this here, you need to come with me". He lets me go and backs away. "Take my hand, I will bring you to safety". I look at him, utterly confused. "Go where?, I can't leave I just got here, Im supposed to stay here, my father arranged this". He shakes his head, looking at me pleadingly. "Please Elena, your father has no idea what the prince is". "What do you mean"? Before he can answer, he is suddenly gone. I look around confused. "Hello Elena". I hear and look towards the voice of the prince. I gulp. "Didn't I tell you not to go outside"? He says, walking towards me. I nod and look away. He comes in front of me and lifts my chin, making me look into his eyes. "What were you doing out here Elena"? He asks, waiting for my answer. "N-nothing". His piercing blue eyes look into mine. "Don't lie to me". I bite my lip, nervously, not knowing how to respond. He sighs. "Come on, lets get you inside". He takes my hand, leading me through the courtyard. I follow, better not to disobey him.
Once we are back in my room, he lets go of my hand and looks at me intently. "Now would you like to tell me"? I look at him, innocently. "Tell you what?, I was just outside admiring the beautiful scenery". I say, sweetly. He looks at me not believing a word of what I had just said. "Tell me do you have another"? He asks, spitefully. I gasp, "how dare he"!, I frown looking at him. "No I do not, and I find your question very hurtful". His face softens for a second, but he persists on. "You can tell me, I will just have to deal with whoever it is". I shake my head. "Im telling the truth". He takes a step closer. "Then why is it that I don't believe you". He states, eyeing me closely. "I don't know, but its not my problem". I say, immediately regretting it as I see his face flood with anger. He takes ahold of my waist, pulling me closer then ever. "Not your problem?, why don't I just call your father and explain this to him, or better yet Ill have him come here and talk some sense into you"! I flinch as he yells. "No please don't, he will be so angry with me, I-I didn't mean it, Im sorry". I say, pleadingly. He nods. "For now I won't, but don't think I won't hesitate to next time". "Thank you". I say. He looks at me. "Now this other man you may or may not have, tell him to leave and never come back or I will have him killed". He states, glazing into my eyes. I gasp, and struggle to break free, but he only tightens his grip. "I told you, there is no other man"! I screech, frustrated. He still doesn't believe me, I think. He leans forward, looking at me. "Ill be damned if I let anyone take away my future wife". He says. I bite my lip, looking away, frustrated with his behavior. He lifts my face to look at him, eyeing me biting my lip. "Do that any longer and I won't be able to control myself". He says, looking at me lustfully. I stop and blush lightly. He sighs and finally lets me go. "I need to cool off, I will see you in the morning, get some sleep". He says, eyeing me once more and heads out, leaving me puzzled.
