Ice Make New Generation (Fairy Tail Fic)

Halloween Special!

"Kyle! Get off of me!" I hissed, trying to push him off. 

"No, I'm scared!" he cried. 

"Then summon Loke to hold your hand," I said. I finally managed to get him off of me and went running through the dark alley. 

"Katie! Come back here!" Kyle called after me. I only felt a little bad for leaving him, but he knew I was meeting with Simon. We were going to investigate the guild's storage which is supposed to be haunted. Not just any haunted either. Haunted by Master Markov's ghost. I was getting chills just thinking about it. I finally made it to the guild and found Simon. 

"You ready?" I asked with a grin. He nodded, grinning as well. We waited until all attention was far away from us before sneaking down into the guild's storage. 

"It's so dark down here," I whispered. 

"Wanna hold hands?" Simon asked. I nodded furiously and grabbed his hand. "Ouch! Katie, not that tight!" Simon hissed. 

"Sorry," I whispered back and loosened my grip. We hesitantly made our way through the darkness. It was all silly really. There was no way Master Markov's ghost would haunt the storage. But still...

"Katie." I stopped. 

"Did you say something Simon?" I asked. 

"No, why?" he wondered. 

"You better not be trying to scare me or nothing," I warned. 

"I'm not. C'mon Katie. There's nothing down here. Let's just get through and be done," Simon said tugging my hand. I continued forward with him, until there was a creak and a crash. We both stopped this time. 

"Please tell me you heard that," I begged. Simon nodded and we continued cautiously. 

"Who dares disturb my slumber?" a deep voice demanded. 

"Simon! It's Markov's ghost! Run!" I screamed and bolted. Simon was right behind me. We burst out of the storage to the rest the guild laughing. 

"You guys are so gullible!" Lexi cackled. I glared at them. 

"We knew it was fake," I mumbled. Papa was even grinning. Natsu followed us out with Happy. They were both laughing as well. 

"You guys are hilarious! Gramps would never haunt that dusty old place!" Natsu said. I glared at him as well and crossed my arm. 

"But you guys do know that Master does come back to the guild, right?" Mira asked pleasantly. Laxus had his arm wrapped around her and nodded in agreement. The guild paled. 

"Why must you always cause trouble?" a voice boomed. Everyone screamed and we all went running out of the guild. I didn't care if it was real or not. Master Markov was scary, dead or alive. 

Author's Note: Happy Halloween! So my theory here is that Markov died before any of the next generation was born, so they've only heard stories and to them he's a kind of scary guy. You have to admit, he's scary if you don't know him. So among the new generation there's multiple rumors/horror stories that talk about how Markov was the greatest and scariest wizard Fairy Tail has ever seen. Also, if they're bad he'll come back and give make them do "that" punishment. ^_^ Have a great and safe Halloween everyone!
