Uhm it's been a while. And I can't promise any of you that this will be better than the last one
My works are always shit so
Bare with my writing I'm still learning it sucks honestly
I keep having these ideas out of nowhere like I'll be just there doing something completely normal that normal people normally do and then suddenly my small brain thinks about something random about what I'm currently doing and what may happen if I did something or something completely unusual and supernatural happened with it
You know? But yeah anyways let's just continue with this sorry excuse of a story

XENA'S POV
"Class dismissed."
You don't know how just two words make me melt in happiness.
I walked to my friend's class almost tripping on some girl's hairbrush and getting cat-called by guys. I mean like— as if.
I waited by the door at Mason's class with Camila like I always do and nip at my thumb which is quite relaxing so to say. People are running in the cafeteria to meet up with their friends and gossip about shit like they always do. Some are at their lockers and talking to someone while at it. But what you will always see is that Britney-duck with Andrew ducking Smith getting comfortable. Like REALLY comfortable with each other. Gag.
I heard a low "Class dismissed." Inside the classroom and the door opened, a gust of wind punched me in the face while students are running and tackling each other to get out of the class.
It's math class by the way.
Soon Mason and Camila walked out laughing about who knows what.
"What are you laughing about?" I questioned. They both looked at each other and busted out laughing again. Camila was crunching her stomach and Mason was against the wall laughing like a hyena. They were both crying.
And I just stood there like a dumb hoe.
"My dear Xena, soon you will know, soon." Mason said suspiciously. "Seems suspicious." I replied. Camila was trying to catch her breath and her face was very red, same with Mason. I was a bit annoyed since they won't tell me.
We walked to the cafeteria with them snickering and bickering to each other about something they still don't wanna tell me about.
"You both need to shut up before I dump you in the toilets. And you know how disgusting boy's toilets are here."
We entered the cafeteria and Camila sat at the corner table while Mason and I bought lunch. Lunch here is not bad but it's not that good either.
Camila sat there eating the lunch that her mom packed for her. And I'll be lying if I said that her mother's cooking is awful. Especially her fried chicken, it's to die for.
Walking to our table is usually very peaceful until now since a jock just really HAD to ruin the peaceful vibe of it. He just HAD to.
"So— have you thought about it or?" He said, dragging the 'or' while raising an eyebrow with his signature smirk that I have found to hate.
Mason's eyes widened and hurried to our table, barely hearing him say, "Here we go again." I sighed and tried to follow him but this son of a donkey blocked my way.
"What do you want Smith?" I raised an eyebrow, mocking him. He was about to say something but I cut him off, "Don't answer that I know what you want." I huffed and tried to go to our table but he said something that just gets under my skin.
"Then why ask?" I ignored it because I don't want to cause a scene that will most likely get us to the principal. I heard a low huff and retracting footsteps behind me.
I sat down with Mason and Camila, they were bickering about something that is not entirely PG13.
"So are you gonna tell me what you've been laughing about?" I asked while taking a huge bite out of my sandwich. They both looked at me and snickered causing me to glare at them again and mutter incoherent words.
"Just come to the top of the school, we'll show you." I squinted my eyes at them, suspecting them. Knowing that they're always thinking of something dumb made me suspicious.
"What if it's a prank you both are planning?" I raised an eyebrow trying to be intimidating which doesn't work on them anymore.
Mason scoffed and Camila rolled her eyes. "What kind of friends do you think we are? We won't do that— as if." And that just raised my suspicion of them.
"I don't trust you guys when it comes to situations like this." They gasped exaggeratingly, showing fake hurt faces. Mason gapped at me and blinks hardly at me.
"I'm hurt, Xena." I sighed and again took a huge bite of my sandwich. "We're your best friends how could you say something so mean?" Mason acted. "I have experienced both of your silly games and it is not fu-."
Suddenly a huge commotion is heard outside of the cafeteria. Probably just outside the door, a few meters maybe. The noises keep getting louder and thundering of footsteps are getting closer to the cafeteria.
Students inside of the cafeteria are either curiously looking at the door while others are chitchatting about it or just standing up, trying to see what's outside. Three of us just stare at each other, knowing damn well what's the commotion all about. We all sighed, amused.
"Of course, she would choose cosplaying today, of course. Just when we thought it would be a peaceful day." The doors to the cafeteria busted open, only for us to see a huge yellow duck.
"DEAREST FRIENDS, OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU! HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE WE LAST SAW EACH OTHER? WAS IT LIKE A YEAR AGO?" Evangeline screamed at the top of her lungs while slowly walking to me, quite weirdly. I closed my eyes and held the bridge of my nose. Pure embarrassment spreading throughout my whole body.
"We literally met like a week ago. The heck are you talking about?" Mason said.
"We don't know who you are so please stop talking to us." I said. Camila nodded along, her face bright red in embarrassment.
"No, wait, actually. Can I take a picture with you? You look great!" Mason said while slightly bouncing on his feet. Seeing him excited made the duck-being ecstatic. "Oh! Sure! I can lift you up if you want?" Mason shakingly breathed.
When I tell you Mason has sparkles in his eyes, I am not lying. Well, not completely true. But you get what I mean. Mason excitedly bounced to Evangeline. It wasn't that much of a struggle for Evangeline to carry Mason since she weight lifts. But mind you, Mason is one heavy guy. One time, I carried Mason for a dare, I almost broke my shoulders.
Crowds started to form around them causing irritating noises. Mason forced Camila to take the picture while I ate silently. I think almost everyone in the cafeteria took pictures with that spawn of the devil. Just when I thought I can eat my burger in peace.
This some good ass burger.
