The day was warm the sun high in the sky above everything. You was walking down the streets of Beach city happily enjoying the nice weather. You have been friends with Steven and the gems for who knows how long now. You help everytime they needed it. you didn't call you self part of the crystal gems You was just a friend of them. You always have been a loner staying out on your own more the around others. Today you wanted to cheek in on the group After Spinel attacked earth you been helping out around the city all you could but time heals as they say. Spinel always came around with the diamonds to see Steven today way one of the days they came around. You started to befriend the sweet pink gem enjoying being around her. She was the only one that you would spend hours with and not get tired of. You could say You had a crush on the pink gem but you keep that to yourself out of fear of losing the friendship you have with the still healing gem. You smile as you come up on Beach Steven's home it seeing everyone outside playing around alone with the diamonds Who was cheeking in on Steven. Even with spinel they still adore him. You smile more seeing spinel on the beach playing around with Cat Steven. You head over waving at Steven who rushes over to hug you. "Y/N you came~!  I thought you would be off doing your own thing at little homeworld!" Steven laughed slapping you on the back playfully. You laugh and rub the back of your neck "I could not miss seeing Spinel and you all I have not seen you in ages!" You laugh looking over at spinel smiling big as she at last seen you. Spinel's pink eyes light up and she stretches her arms around you pulling herself to you rubbing her cheek on yours. "Y/N!! Your here I missed you so much! you always gone when I come I thought you forgotten about me!" She said wrapping her arms around like you would leave at anytime. You could not help but to laugh at the gem blushing lightly at her closeness. "I would never do that Ya noddle I care about you to much after are you are my best friend!!" you said as you laughed. Spinel smiles picking you up walking away from Steven who was laughing at the hyper gem as well. she laughs running back over to cat Steven sitting you down again. you smiles as you was freed from her grip. "So how has my pink noodle been~?" you asked butting shoulders with her. she sit down and petted cat Steven as she spoke. " I been okay Still having a bit of trouble trusting others....I made Blue pearl upset because I had a brake down". she sighs hugging her knees. you sigh sitting down by her looking out over the water. "It will take time to get use to being cared about the past just don't fade away it will always be there....But your doing alot better then before be proud of that" you smiles at her putting you arm around her. Spinel smiled softly leaning on you some. "Thanks y/n"
You blush lightly leaning you head on hers. "It's nothing at all Spinel..."
