Jack J's pov
Jane decided after seeing her room, she wamted to watch a movie.
"Can we watch a movie? Please?"
"Of course. Come on. I'll show you where the movies are and you can pick one."
"Ok."
I held my hand out to her and after a little hesitation, she took it. I led her to our movie room and showed her all our movies.
She ran straight for the Disney movies. Her face lit up when she found Beauty and the Beast.
"Oh please, please, please can we watch this one?"
"Of course. You know, we have another little girl your age who sometimes hangs out here. Her name is Skylynn. We call her Sky. She's Nash's baby sister. She likes Disney too. So we bought all of those movies for her. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you watching them."
"She wouldn't?"
"Of course not. Skylynn is super sweet. Oh! Hey, I have an idea. Why don't I call her mom and see if Sky & her brother Hayes can come over?"
"Can we?"
"Sure. Let's go downstairs and get Nash to call his mom and ask."
"Ok!"
I carried Jane downstairs and put her on the couch, then went to find Nash.
He was in the kitchen, eating of course.
"Hey, Nash. Call your mom."
"Why?"
"I want Jane to meet Sky. Maybe if she met Sky, she'd come out of her shell and not be so scared and nervous. I mean, Sky is 6, right?"
"Yeah."
"So is Jane. I was thinking maybe we could have Hayes and Sky come over, spend the weekend or whatever. And give Jane a friend."
"Sure. It could work."
"Call your mom."
"Alright."
While Nash called his mom, I got the living room set up for our movie night.
Nash came in and said his mom was bringing Hayes, Sky and Hayes' girlfriend Miranda and that she'd also agreed to let them stay for the next two weeks.
"That's great, Nash. Can you do me one more favor and order some pizza? Jane likes pineapple. And get whatever pizzas you and the guys want. I'll pay for it."
"Ok."
Nash went to order the pizza and I put the Beauty and the Beast dvd in the dvd player.
I wanted to make this night the best one Jane would ever have.
