william "bill" denbrough, a nineteen-year-old college student and aspiring author with a less severe stutter, thanks to a couple years of speech therapy and counting. he mostly just has issues with his s-words and f-words now, but occasionally will have issues with other sounds, too. he attends a college outside of maine, not wanting to stick around anywhere near derry any longer.
