school had finally ended. Everyone was psyched! This summer was going to be the best because i was camping with my boyfriend, best friend, and her boyfriend. We would be alone together without any adults. My parents agreed to let me go because they though i was gonna be in the same tent as Cassie, my best friend. But they were wrong because i was sharing with Derek <3. I hurried home and packed:
- Socks and underwear (HAHA)
-pants
-shorts and skirts
-shoes
-dresses and shirts
-sweaters
-a tent
-queen sized inflatable mattress
-black and purple comforter
-1 purple inflatable couch and 2 matching chairs
- portable closet and dresser
- raingear
I was ready for the trip. at 9:30 i was in bed and trying to sleep. When i finally fell into a sleep, the next day seemed to come quickly. I woke at 6:30 and got dressed. I wore a simple pair of jeans, white tshirt, and a hoody. I pulled a brush through my hair. i ran downstairs and had a quick bowl of cereal. a knock at the door told me that Derek, Cassie, and Felix were here. I answered the door and almost fainted at the sight. Derek was incredibly hot and cute. He was the boy in school that all girls goggled at. Except me. i dont know how we started dating, i never noticed him until he asked me to the dance. During the dance every girl was glaring at me except Cassie. She was busy lost in Felix's eyes. Now that we are dating, i notice every handsome detail about Derek.
"Hey Babe. You ready to go?"
"you betcha!" i said smiling
It took five minutes to load the truck and another five before we actually left. On the way out of the city we stopped at Tim Hortons to get cream cheese bagels and Iced Capps. At around noon we were at the campground and in site 125. they site was huge! It had a firepit and picnic table, two awesome trees to be used for the hammock, and two paths leading to big circles for the tents. Cassie looked at me and winked. We both had brought the same tents and mattresses. All four of us had brought closets and dressers.
"Ok, so Cassie and i will set up the tents and put mattresses, closets, and dressers in. Felix, you set up the hammock, and Derek, can you set up the gazebo over the picnic table?" I said
Everyone nodded and got to work. Within an hour, the tents were setup, hammock hanging, and gazebo....... gazeboing. I was in my tent making the bed when Derek walked in.
"looks good." he said as he put his clothing away. I blushed when i saw his boxers. he was shoving his clothing in messily. i walked over and started pulling his clothing out. After recieving a puzzled look, i sat down and kissed him on the cheek
"your such a guy. you need to fold your clothes you know."
"well then its a good thing i have you here with me"
i blushed and put his clothing and my clothing away. When i was done, Derek wrapped his arms around me and turned me to face him. He kissed me softly on the lips and then smiled.
"lets go make sure Cassie and Felix aren't having too much fun"
We walked out of the tent, hand in hand.
