Lea rushed in, starting from the bottom she slashed her sword on a soldier but they didn't evaporate, they punched her but that didn't phase her, She jumped up and kicked them in the head, making another slash through them but this time from the top.The dark soldier back-fisted her in the face,she took this opportunity to sweep kick him and make a final slash through their stomach.
The last slash finally caused them to evaporate.
She uppercut kicked 2 and summoned another sword, she air slashed long enough slashes to hit them both she then made the other sword disappear and slashed through them both, causing them to evaporate.
As she worked through the other soldiers,Dära had plans of her own.. Ruby grabbed the lid of a trash can, she saw that Dära was going to try to Strike Lea when she was distracted.
She growled and charged Into the battlefield and held the trashcan infront of her,sheilding Lea from Dära's Ice blast.
'Daaaahhhh!!! When are you going to see that "Honor" gets you NOWHERE!?" Dära growled.
Dära shot her Ice blaster in the air, Ruby quietly gasped and ran to grab Lea, she threw her arm around Lea who yelped, and held the other up to sheild her from the ice blast. The Ice blast surrounded them, but Ruby surprised Dära by kicking them down.
'How did a weakling like you break Steel made Ice!?" Dära questioned.
'Weak...? No, Just Inexperienced..." Ruby remarked.
'Then why are you out here!? You know it's not that stupid hero universe you humans call DC and Marvel!" Dära almost bellowed, trying to get through Ruby's skin.
'Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but your words will never hurt me! Now back off, Bird Brain!" Ruby recited, throwing the trash can top at Dära.
'Ooh!" Dära groaned.
The trashcan top sent her to the bottom of the hill, dust hovered around her.
Lea had final air slashed two more soldiers into evaporation when she stood still,her mouth agape.
'Dang! I think you wiped the floor with her!" Lea said, surprised.
But Ruby felt an unexpected hit to the area below her chest.
hēck! (The e is barely audible)
Lea reacted quickly and caught Ruby mid-air.
'You okay!?" Lea asked.
'Yeah, I'm okay," Ruby reassured her.
'NOT SO NICE BEING HIT WITH YOUR OWN "SHEILD" HUH!?" Dära cackled as she flew from the dust cloud.
Kch!
The upper kick from Dära sent Ruby flying and falling on her stomach.
Lea rushed to her and offered to help but Ruby politely declined and stood up herself.
She spit out a mostly broken tooth and some blood.
'Definitely gonna feel that later," Ruby weakly chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.
Ruby picked up the trashcan lid proudly held it infront of her.
Dära shook with anger, Her fists clenched, Her eyes showing vein like lines as her face turned a bright red.
A flurry of punches followed suit as Ruby Stubbornly held the trashcan lid.
'Why. Won't. You. Ever. Give. Up!?" Dära growled.
She kicked the trashcan lid with such force,Ruby lost her balance and fell on her knees.
Her eyes then widened with a smile, She blasted, but not towards Ruby nor Lea, An unsuspecting mother and daughter.
'No!" Ruby cried out.
She threw the trashcan lid to protect the mother and daughter, counteracting the blast, the lid came back...but...
Klnk!
The lid fell to the ground as Ruby lightly clutched to her head.
Ruby turned over and tried to stand up but kicked the back of Ruby's head.
'Ah!" Ruby whisper-grunted.
'Hey! THAT'S ENOUGH!" Lea roared, an Air swipe going through the air.
Dära's eyes widened as that air swipe went through her head,
Ruby shreiked and caught her,easing her to her knees.
'Why...?" Dära weakly asked.
'Y-You were in need..." Ruby trailed off.
Dära weakly chuckled.
'You are one of a kind,sis..." She quipped before truly blacking out.
