As the battle of Beacon rages on; a long lost 5th kingdom returns... This kingdom has been in disappearance for centuries. Over time this lost civilization has developed technologies that far surpass any kingdom on Remnant. They achieved space flight and has developed invisibility and deflector shields. What Remnant's inhabitants don't know about their disappearance, is that they actually faked it.
6 centuries before the Battle of Beacon, everyone in the 5th kingdom didn't want the world knowing about their technology, so they went into hiding; hence the so-called "disappearing act".
As time goes on, the majority of the people of Remnant slowly forgot about this kingdom after its disappearance... nearly everyone... except for one man... Professor Ozpin. He was skeptical if they did in fact disappear, or merely faked it. He was eventually convinced that it was still out there... somewhere.
As for the 5th kingdom; however..... it's not a kingdom, at ALL........... It is an Empire
And it's name is... the Texocranian Empire.
....and they DON'T use Dust.
....and they are Grimmless.
