Azur Lane: Male Reader X Hood

The Hood sets out

The alarm sounds off as the wind starts to pick up in Scapa. 

Intercom: We need HMS Hood and HMS Prince of Wales to head to the docks immediately for departure.

Hood sets down her tea cup and stands.

Hood: It seems like the time has come. 

Hood quickly leaves the room and heads for the docks. As she makes her way to the docks you are seen quickly running down the streets trying to beat her to the docks.

" Please let me make it in time."

As you continue to run you see Hood at the entrance of the docks about to enter.

"Hood!"

You yell for her. She turns around and gives you a smile. You finally make it to her and pause trying to catch your breath.

"Thank goodness I made it in time."

Hood: It's nice that you came to see me off my dear.

You smile. 

"Of course. You know I would try best to come see you off before every mission. But I heard this one is going to be more dangerous than any others you were in."

Hood: I know. But you need not worry I will come out victorious alongside Prince of Wales.

" I know that. But I still worry for you."

She gives you a warm smile and places her hand on your face.

Hood: Your so kind. I never thought I would've found someone as nice as you. So do not worry. I will do everything I can so we can see each other again. 

You grab her hand and lightly squeeze it.

" I know. Be safe ok."

Hood: I will dear and you do the same up there ok.

You nod as she gives you a light peck on the cheek as she turns around and enters the docks. 

"Please come back safely."

Two days later

" Hey I appreciate you fixing it.

West: Of course, it's my job anyway.

He looks inside the cockpit of your Spitfire and notices the picture you got.

West: Man you got one pretty women.

You smile.

" Yeah I do. Be sure you stay away from her or we may have problem.'

He laughs.

West: No thank you. I already have my wife.

You smirk.

West: Hey bring over the tool kit if you want me to fix it.

" Yes sir."

He grins as you hand him the tools. After you handed him the tools you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around to see a man with a letter.

Mailman: Are you (Y/n) (L/n)?

" Yes I am?"

You look at him confused. He hands you the letter.

Mailman: I'm sorry.

He says that and walks away. You slowly open the letter and start to read it. 

"No."

You drop to your knees and tears start flow down your cheeks. 

West: Hey whats wrong!

You don't hear the words he says. 

"No, no this can't be happening. Hood!"

You clench the letter. 

"Hood!"
