"If your mom catches you you're dead" Sabrina said as she handed me a can of white spray paint. "done" I said and stood back to admire my work. "Escape our deadly society" Sabrina read out loud,"wow Alexa you out did yourself this time" Sabrina said and I smiled. "hey what are you doing?" The security guard asked. "run" I said and grabbed my backpack and made a mad dash down the street.

"See you tonight at nine" I said as I was about to enter my house. "by the old oak tree" Sabrina said and I walked inside. I dropped my bag near the door and took off my black vans. "where were you?" Mom asked as she stood in front of me blacking my path. "I was out with Sabrina" I said. "doing what?" Mom asked. "Just chilling" I said. "Were you vandalizing the town again?" Mom asked and crossed her arms across her chest. "No" I said. "I better not get a phone call" mom said and I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a juice box and sat on the couch.I picked up my black cat Salem and sat him on the couch next on me. "where's Mittens?" I asked Salem and looked around for my other black cat. I was about to turn on the tv when I heard the doorbell ring.

"Hello Pamela." a voice said. "hello Brent" mom said. I got up and sat on the balcony looking down at the front door. "Alexa vandalized another wall" Brent said. "Thank you for telling me" Mom said. "no problem, and this is the last time I'll be able to cover for Alexa, I don't want to lose my job as a Sargent" Brent said. "don't worry this is the last time" Mom said. "well I have to go but I'll see you on Friday" Brent said and gave mom a hug. I got up and tried sneaking past my mom. "Alexandria Marquez" mom shouted and I stopped dead in my tracks. "yes mommy" I said and smiled. "what did I tell you about vandalizing the town" mom shouted. "I just made it prettier" I said. "Did you hear what Brent said." mom said."that he was gonna take you out" I said. "look Alexa, next time you do something stupid, Brent won't bail you out. your going to end up in jail like, like...you know who!" Mom shouted. "like who my dad!" I shouted,"say it! Why do you act like he's dead!" I shouted. "because to me he is" mom shouted,"I don't want you to end up like him!" Mom shouted. "I'm done" I shouted and ran to my room.

I slammed the door and turned up my speakers and started listening to Neck Deep. I walked over to my bed and pulled a box of cigarettes and a lighter from under my mattress. I opened the window and climbed onto the ledge and up to the roof.

I lit the cigarette and drew in a deep breath.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard my phone beep.

Sabrina:coming in twenty minutes

"Fuck" I said and walked back into my room. I took off my grey Eminem tank top and red jeans and changed into a black long sleeve shirt with a black skater skirt, with black tights and red doc martens. I fixed my wavy brown hair and added mascara and liquid eyeliner. I grabbed my phone, my wallet and a pack of cigarettes and my lighter. I placed it in my small black purse and placed it over my shoulder so the strap was over my chest and the compartment was near my hip. I opened the window and jumped out.

"Hey ready to go?" Sabrina asked. She was wearing a white Green Day t-shirt with a pair of black high waisted shorts and black fishnet rights and red vans. "yes" I said and we got into her car.

"But keep my goddamn name out of your mouth, you're just a shade of grey! And I want is foreword progress, maybe next year I'll miss you're face but right now its still worthless!" Sabrina and I sang at the top of our lungs.

We pulled up in front of a blue Victorian house and walked out. We walked to the back and saw a group of five people siting around a campfire. "Sabrina! Alexa!" Xander Saldez exclaimed as he saw us. "hey" we said. "long time no see" Quentin Delaware said and gave me a hug. "hey you're the one who's been who knows where" I said. "hey I'm back in town now, so we can now hang out more" Quentin winked. "hey aren't you gonna say hi!" Ethan Calden said and hugged me and the went to hug Sabrina. "it's been too long" Nelli Bustamante said and hugged us. "yeah" Sabrina said. "Hey Alexa I heard you almost got caught again" Hannah Rick said. "yeah, but you know Brent bailed me out" I said and took a seat next to Quentin. "Is he still after your mom?" Xander asked. "yeah and it pisses me off, not because she's starting a new life like whatever. But because he acts like he's my dad" I said. "Hey we got your back from now on" Nelli winked. "thanks guys" I said. "alright pass the alcohol" Sabrina said as she took a seat next to Ethan. Quentin handed me a bottle of vodka I took a long drink and then handed it to Sabrina. "Okay sing us a song" Nelli said and handed Quentin a guitar. "Born to die" Hannah said. "okay let's start" I said and Quentin started strumming.

"Feet don't fail me know, take me to the finish line. oh my heart it breaks with every step that I take. but I'm hoping at the gates they tell me that your mine," I said while Quentin played guitar.

"Dude we gotta go home" Sabrina said at midnight. "so soon?" Ethan asked. "yeah my mom doesn't know I'm here" I said. "we snuck out" Sabrina said. "well can I get a hug at least?" Quentin asked and stretched out his arms. "bye" I said and hugged him. "C'mon lets go" Sabrina said and pulled me away.

"Do you like Quentin?" Sabrina asked once we got into the car. "he's okay " I said. "okay?" Sabrina asked. "we know he's a player, but you know could have a little fun" I said. "don't get burned" Sabrina said as we pulled in front of my house. "I'll be careful" I said and got walked out. "see you tomorrow" I said.

I got up and climbed into the window ledge. I climbed into my room and sat on my bed. "This is the life" I said and picked up Salem and Mittens off the floor and sat them on the bed with me. I took out my laptop and started watching American Horror Story.
