As Blake walked into the crimson hallways of school, everyone stopped and stared. All she could here were the whispers of her peers. “Why is she still here” ”I thought she died” ”I can’t believe she showed up” ”what happened to her face, it seems to be uglier”, and on and on it went. She hastened her pace to her first period with her head down. Why does it always have to be me? She thought.

Her favorite class is English 1 honors because reading can get her away from reality. When she got to the room she basically ran to the back of the class and to the corner. As she sat down the bell rang and the entire student body started to pile in the classroom creating a huge mass of freshman kids, and thus class started.

Blake is a shy girl with a social problem. Ever since that night 1 month ago she has had a problem with coming to school and making friends. She thinks it’s all her fault.

As the day comes to a finish she goes to her last class, chorus. She loves chorus it helps he calm down. She is the “second” to walk in, which is unusual because she is always the first one. She looks more closely and realizes its a boy around he age maybe a year or two older, consoled in a small corner with headphones in by himself. She walks in and places he stuff on the desk and sits down. She sees people walk in so she gets out he phone and acts like she got a text but really she didn’t. She stay’s like that for about 10 minutes and then class starts.

“Okay so my name is Mr.Cristofano viscusi (an Italian name) but call me Mr. V.  Today I am going to pair you up with a person and you will get to know them the hole period, ask them why you picked chorus and something no one knows about you. Okay. Ana and Marko, Crissy and Logan, Amelia and Brittney, Dallas and Mia, Blake and Alex, etc. She gets up and looks around for Alex. She sees everyone else paired up but the kid she saw earlier. She walks to him and taps him on the shoulder. He takes out his headphones and answer “WHAT!” he yells. “ Are you Alex we kind of have to talk about each other for the rest of the period?” she says in the smallest of a voice. His face seems to soften when he actually gets a good look but it was quickly covered with the mean act. They talk and actually laugh with each other. That’s the first time she has laughed from that Thursday evening on November 14th. She had forgotten how to laugh and how to socialize like she used to before her friends disowned her. The bell rang and she packed up he things and left. As she was walking in the hallway someone grabbed he arm and turned her around. She looked at the guy and it was Alex. She looked down and whispered” you should go before anyone sees.” A tear slips from her eyes. He puts his hand on her chin and pulls he face up and says”Why?” She removes her face from his grip and wipes her tears and runs off. Great see what you did Blake, know he thinks your a freak. Way to go. Good job.She thought. She ran all the way home and into her room. She slammed the door and jumped on the bed and screamed at the top of her lungs. Her mom didn’t even get up from he bed to fix dinner or check and see if she was okay.

The next morning she wakes up at 6:00 and is ready by 6:30. She walks to her moms room with bacon and eggs sunny side up, just they way her mom love its and brings it to her. “Mom I made you breakfast, I’m coming in” she said loud enough for her to hear. She didn’t even move, she just sat there with the blanket halfway covering her and looking at the window, with a locket in one hand and a jacket in the other. Blake walked over to her and set the tray down on the night stand. She went over to her mom and covered her up and whispered “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.” Looking at the locket and jacket she let a tear slip from her eye. She began to walk out. After she left her moms room she heard sobs coming out of the room. If I would’ve listened this would never have happened she thought to herself.
