After we got home me, Levi and Kaden went up to our rooms to get our things together. I packed my sketch book, most of my books, clothes, camera and computer. Other than that I was ready to go. Hopefully whoever did this will be brought in and pays for what he did. I've never been this scared for my life ever, well if you count that time I went sledding and when it hit a rock I flew off, but this is different so much different. It's not everyday you find a dead body in your backyard. I grabbed my phone and charger, as I picked my phone up there was a note underneath.
"He was a good kid. A shame he go out this way. But you'll know why I did it soon Hayley Fox. As of right now, keep watch of your brother Levi. It's always the good ones that go."
"What the hell?" I whispered to myself. I shook my head and went downstairs to only to find my mom in the kitchen.
"Mom?"
"Oh hi Hayles."
"You ok?"
"Yeah just shaken up. How are you doing?"
"Could be better." She only nodded and took her stuff the car. Ouch.
Later Levi and Kaden came downstairs, I jerked my head to the door signaling them to get in the car and wait for dad. James got in the car not even five minutes later. He started the car and drove off to our new "home." I pulled out one of my books and started reading. I read for about twenty minutes before I drifted off to sleep.
Everything was normal again, no hiding from the guy who killed James, no living in fear nothing of that nature. I walk to the backyard out to the creek, and see a log in the water. I walk over to it to bring over to the bank, but as I get closer I realized it was a body. No I thought. Not again. As I turned it over, I was shocked to see who it was. It couldn't be. No no no no no.
I woke up with a jolt. I look around and see that we're at the temporary place. Dad opened the door for me and I got out, grabbed my two bags and headed inside. I couldn't stop thinking about that dream. It was probably about the note in all honesty but it was still weird.
