The sun was leaving and so was all hope for Grace. At the begging of the day Grace new something was different, she went outside to hose the plants just like she did every other Saturday morning. She felt the feeling of another soul nearby, now Grace wasn't one of those girls who believes in zombies resurrecting and all other supernatural 'things.' She was an independent girl who had been left by herself on the weekend of Halloween by her parents because they had to go 'do something.' Was that something more important than their beautiful daughter?
Grace went back inside and noticed a bowl of her favourite cereal on the table, attached with a note. It read:
"Hi darling, I hope you slept well last night, here's some cereal, stay safe my baby, your father and I love you a boat load,
Mum xx"
Grace was extremely confused. Her parents had left Thursday night, did they come home just to give her cereal?
"Mum, Dad, Mum?" Grace called hoping for a response somewhere around the 15 acre block."BANG!" A huge noise came from the garage. Grace slowly grabbed a knife and headed towards the garage, you never know what a large bang like that is caused by around here. The floor planks creek as Grace walks hesitantly towards the garage door. "ERRRHH" the door handle stutters as Graces sweaty palms struggle to open the entrance. The stairs leading towards the ground of the pitch black garage filled with mould and dust, Grace blew the dust off but the mould was perminant. She jumped over the 3 small stairs and landed hard on the cement. A heavy paint jar fell onto the floor but Grace new it didn't fall on its own, someone, well, something was here and it was fast and dangerous.
