Landon's eyes darted towards the door at the sound of her voice within his mind. He'd been holding a meeting with his first and second beta about the situation and danger towards his mate that he'd forgotten about their mental bond. By the tone of her voice he knew something was up.
'I didn't do it' He spoke in a slightly defensive tone as he paused Sirius in his report of the recent rounds about the territory.
'Naya informed me just now that theres a female that didn't respect either of our orders for the female to spar today... Have you seen Ruby?" Her voice sounded irritated but calm as she spoke into his mind, his green eyes shifted towards Sirius and Braxon and then towards the door a moment.
"Have either of you seen Ruby today?" He asked with a serious tone, Brax scoffed slightly as he leaned against the table a moment and shrugged.
"I don't babysit Bitches, Alpha Landon you know this" Brax grunted out slightly as his eyes shifted towards Sirius. The older wolf pursed his lips a moment as if he was trying to retrace his steps.
"I remember seeing her in the library when we passed earlier but I didn't really think much on it... I thought perhaps the Luna sent her there for something." Sirius spoke softly as he watched Landon move off the desk and towards the door. "Where are you going, Alpha?" Sirius asked respectfully as he followed after him.
'Meet me inside the Library, Love' Landon spoke to Lina as he glanced over his shoulder and spoke out loud. "We have a She-wolf that is disrespecting my orders and disrespecting her Luna...We might have found a lead on the mole in the pack." His voice was a low growl as he moved out of the room and down the hallway.
He could smell her in the hallway near the Library... of course she'd be in there but he knew Ruby well enough to know that she wasn't much of a reader. From the other side of the hallway however he caught the intoxicating scent of his beloved mate, Although as her pregnancy was developing there was a new hormone mixed with her scent that made his gut and heart swell with pride. She was already on the She-wolves tail... she was fast. He remained outside of the doorway when he heard the exchange.
"I don't recognize a fucking witch as my Luna" Ruby's voice was a low growl, there was obvious disrespect in her voice almost as if she was bored of the conversation and had her back on HIS mate. It took a lot of willpower to remain on the other side of the door to allow his mate to show authority.
