Beautiful Stars
(Inspired by a dark night, a wild imagination, and a tale of a lost girl)

Beautiful stars,
close to touch,
and yet so far.
I wonder if,
I'll ever reach high enough,
to feel their bright surface on my hand.
It's a starry night,
The earth glows from the beautiful form of light.
Lighting the way,
to lost and abundantly abused souls.
Leading them,
to what seems like a small share of home.
Beautiful stars,
seem close to touch,
and yet so far.
Enlghten me with your wisdom,
and guide me through the obstructions,
of life.
Curious soul, they reply,
We feel your pain,
And your loss,
And your suffering.
Yet we refuse to enlighten you,
with our share of wisdom.
Would life be worth it?
If you avoided the obstructions?
Would life be worth it?
If you avoided searching for the solutions?
The journey is perilous,
And shall bring grief.
But it shall also brng the reason to live.
But your aura is pure,
and your purpose has no harm.
You will have a good life.

It's a starry night,
Yet they don't speak to me no more.
But no longer am I willing,
To dodge things.
For life,
As difficult as it can seem,
with it comes the reason to live.
And that is what I strive for.
Beautiful stars,
seem so close to touch,
Yet so far away.
I climb through the obstacles,
and devastating issues,
and reach, and reach for the stars.
