Today is the day. today is the queen's birthday and I am very excited! I will get to see the royal family and watch the parade!

" Mom! Mom! " I excitedly say to my mom while jumping. " Let's hurry we might not get to see the parade! I want to watch It from the start , I don't want to miss it " I said while opening the door.

" Alright alright my little princess , let's go " My mom calmly said while smiling. Well I'm not a princess but my mom and dad always makes me feel that I am one. We are not rich like the royal family but we are very rich in love.

" Yipee! " I jumped and we started walking. Our home is located near the Buckingham Palace so we don't need a ride and also there are so much people in this kind of event.

Royal guards. Colorful banners. Marching band. People cheering. Yup It's the trooping of colours. Me and my mom go through the ocean of people until we reached the barricade.

" It's so noisy darling " my mom said while covering her ears. " But It's enjoyable too mom " I said and laughed and then the royal trumpets played and the people's cheer became louder.

" The royal family! " I pointed at the carriage coming to the palace. And I was mesmerized by the royal family this was the first time I saw them because I'm only an eight year old girl. They looked perfect and elegant and I was in awe by seeing them this close.But one thing caught my attention.

" Prince adam... " I whispered as I am out of breath because they are so breathtaking at this point. as the carriage passed by me , I met his blue orbs staring at mine. I got lost by his blue orbs starring deeply at me until my mom called me.

" Charlotte? Charlotte " My mom called my name. " Y-yes mom? " I said looking at the carriage that passed by me and from my small height I cannot see them until the walked up the stairs of the palace , they waved and go into the big doors of the palace.

" Mom Is it finish already? " I asked while tugging my mom's dress. She laughed and kneeled so we are at the same level. " No honey , they will go up there " she pointed out a wide balcony with a microphone stand. " and the queen will give a speech , but darling let's go buy some food first alright? " I nodded and again passing through the ocean of people.

As I was passing through my eyes looked back at the carriage then the balcony if the prince is there then as if on cue they showed up at the balcony and for the second time I met his blue inviting eyes making me feel something.

" My princess let's go " My mom said and we left the crowd walking away but still hoping to see the blue eyed prince. " So darling what are you looking at? you are so focused on something "

" H-huh? " My mom laughed. " Is it one of the princes? " she jokingly said in a tone and looked at me smiling widely. " N-no! I-It isn't " I denied not meeting my mother's gaze.

She chuckled and said " It's okay honey " she tapped my head " It's okay to have a little crush " my mom teasingly said and I felt my cheeks burn a little.

" Aww look at my little princess being flustered and blushing " She teased me again , I buried my face on her dress shaking my head. " Moooom no I'm noooot ! " I said matching it with the stomp of my feet. I heared her chuckled again " okay okay I'll stop , let's buy food "

" Hey annie let's play! " I said to my friend while we are heading to Trafalgar square. " what will we play? " annie asked. " uhmm I don't know? tag? " I suggested while we are sitting near the fountain.

" Tag you're it! " Annie suddenly said and started running " Hey! I'm not--ugh " so I started chasing her even though there are some people walking around or taking pictures , just being careful not to bump into somebody.

" I-I'm gonna catch youu ! " I said breathless. And I ran as fast as I can to catch annie when I bumped into some pair of legs. " Ouch! " I said while caressing my forehead. I looked up and saw a middle aged man elegantly dressed and he is holding someone.

" Are you okay? " I heard a voice and found it's owner. It's the blue eyed prince.

" P-prince! " I said and bowed to him. " Are you okay little girl? " the man said. " I'm butler jones " he offered a hand and we shaked hands and now I came face to face with the blue eyed prince.

" I-I " I stuttered don't know what to do and the prince chuckled a little and offered his hand.

" Prince Adam Levi of london " I starred at his hand and looked at him and he raised a brow so I quickly wiped my hands with my skirt and shaked his hand. " Charlotte , Charlotte Peters "

" I'm so sorry " I bowed. " Are you related to royal palace guard Charlie peters? " Butler Jones asked " Yes, he is my father " I said proudly , he nodded and then the prince talked again " be careful next time alright? " he tapped my left shoulder and smiled warmly at me. " Okay me and the prince will get going " I nodded and frozen at my place.

The prince's sweet voice , charming smile and blue eyes can't get out of my mind and It makes me feel butterflies..maybe I do have a crush on him.
