Chapter 6

I don't own naruto.

Naruto and Ino had just finished eating and were about to leave the restaurant.

Hey Naruto, you never said how you were able to afford going to that restaurant.-Ino said as they were leaving

Oh well Ino, since I'm the hero of Konoha, me and any guest I bring eat for free.-Naruto said while laughing slightly

Oh well I'm glad you didn't go broke on out first date Naruto.-she said as she grabbed Naruto's hand to hold

Yeah, me too, anyway on to the next place, my favorite place, follow me Ino.-Naruto said as he smiled at Ino

15 minutes later they were on top of the hokage monument, more specifically the fourth hokage's head.

So Naruto this your favorite place?- Ino said as she looked over the village

Yeah, I always come up here to think or to get away for a while, I was hoping one day to bring someone special up here, and now you and I are here.-Naruto said hugging Ino tightly

Naruto, thank you for bringing me here, I'm glad you trust me that much.-Ino said as tears started to drop from her eyes

Ino are you okay?-Naruto asked sounding concerned

I'm fine Naruto, I just never imagined our first date would be this good.-Ino said while smiling

Ino come let's sit down.-Naruto said as he pointed towards a blanket that he had placed earlier

They both sat and cuddled, watching as the stars came out.

Hey Ino, I better get you home, it's getting late, and I don't want to worry your mom.-Naruto said trying to sound responsible

Yeah you're right let's go Naruto.- Ino said as she thought about how much he had changed over the years

At Sasuke's house around 9:30 PM
There's a knock at the door

This better be important.-Sasuke said as he got up and went to the door

Sasuke opened the door to see Sakura

What do you want Sakura?-Sasuke said annoyed that she woke him up

Oh well Hinata gave me her spare key, and I was just returning it, to be nice.- Sakura

So you came in the middle of the night just to return a key? You really are annoying and desperate.-Sasuke said as he took the key and closed the door in her face

Sakura started crying and walked through the village feeling defeated.

Naruto and Ino just got back to Ino's house

Well Ino I hope you had as good a time as I did.- Naruto said blushing slightly

Naruto if I'm being honest... That was best date I've ever been on, and there will definitely be more in the future.-Ino said flirtatiously

Ino kissed Naruto, and before he knew it she disappeared into her house.

Did that actually just happen?-Naruto said to himself

Naruto walked home, feeling like he was on top of the world, until he saw sakura crying on a bench under the tree

Hey Sakura what's wrong?-Naruto asked

Oh hey Naruto it's nothing, I just don't feel good that's all.- Sakura lies trying to convince him

Sakura you know you can talk to me about anything right?-Naruto said not believing her lie

I know it's just... Sasuke still doesn't want to be with me, I don't know what to do, not that you understand that since you have Ino.-Sakura said about to cry

Sakura, sometimes you just have to move on, I really thought I loved you, but I realized you wouldn't return my feelings so I moved on and I think I'm better for it, you should try to be happy too.-Naruto said in his hopeful tone

Naruto I can't just move on, Sasuke is who I love no matter what I just can't move on, and haven't you thought about how Hinata felt when she heard about you and Ino!?-Sakura shouted after Naruto

Sakura you know how I feel about Hinata, she is just a good friend.-Naruto said being annoyed at Sakura

Naruto she loved you, she would have done anything to be with you, why didn't you ever show her any interest!?-Sakura started to shout

Because I didn't feel the same way as her, I wasn't going to lie to her and everyone else including myself, I have found a way to move on from you with Ino, because me and her have the same feelings for each other. Sakura I'm sorry but if you can't find a way to move on then I can't help you, Sasuke knows how you feel, so it's up to him how he feels.-Naruto said angrily before getting up and leaving

Sakura soon got up and went home to think about what Naruto said to her.
