"The only good goblin, is a dead goblin." - Neargrim

The goblins have been created a nuisance of themselves as of late, being too close to town, stealing crops, and killing livestock. Thanks to various brave souls, the damage has been kept to a minimum, and no one has been killed as of yet.

Through some investigation it has been found that there are currently two tribes of warring goblins, and it's this war that has been pushing goblins out of their home in the Llyrath forest to go raid human settlements for food. The one group is lead by Kael the Crusher, an unusually large goblin that has managed to convince onto his side some Bugbears, large beastly goblinoids, which have been a serious threat for the other goblin tribe, and the human settlements caught in the crossfire. The other group is lead by Mog the Tooth, a smaller, more cunning goblin, who has gathered a larger body of support from the majority of the goblins.

Recently, the crafty Mog has been giving gems to adventurers in order to help him secure victory against his opponent Kael with the promise that after Kael is dead, order will be restored, and the goblins will stop harassing human settlements - but is he being honest?

Recently, the adventurers helped a tribe of Lizardfolk on the isle of Snowdown fight off some pirates, in exchange for a goblin crown - which has been handed to Mog, in the hopes it will mark him as the goblin king, and Kael's supporters will desert him, ending this goblin war.

Yet, goblins sightings still continue, including sightings of Kael's bugbears... So, did Mog's plan work, and he's merely betrayed the adventurer's trust? Or is Kael still contesting for the crown?
