Midoriya's POV:
Deku was just standing down the hallway, about to head into class. He took a sigh. I can already here the noise from out here, he thought to himself, Let's see. He entered the classroom.
Just as he thought. Bakugo was yelling at people for no good reason, Lida was trying to calm the class by karate chopping the air, (with no success) Urararka, Froppy and Momo were gathered around Jiro's desk, laughing away. Kirishima was trying to calm down Bakugo, with more success then Lida, Mina was talking to Hagakure and Denki, and everyone else just mucking around.
Deku did notice someone just doodling at the back of the class. Todoroki. Of course he's the only quiet one here... Deku thought to himself. He made his way around the classroom to get to Todoroki.
"Hey Todoroki!" Deku said once he got to him.
Todoroki snapped out of his own world, and looked at the human broccoli
"Oh! Hey Deku"
"Do you know why Mr. Aizawa isn't here?"
"He was sick today. We came into the class and there was just a note on Tsu's desk"
Todoroki then gave Deku the note
'Dear class
I am unable to attend for I am ill. Do what ever Momo or Lida says. I don't know, just don't get into trouble.
From Mr. Aizawa'
It wasn't very professional. They didn't even have a substitute!
"Everyone!" Denki yelled across the classroom, who was now with Mineta. "I would like to say an idea!"
