When Naruto was born, he had tuffs of red hair, his hair grows fast and he's met they Kuubi no Kitsune, or Kurama.
This is the story of the prodigy of Konoha, and not the Uchiha Sasuke.
Uzumaki-Namikazi Naruto
So Naruto's hair is now down to his feet so he has it in a half bun, and has the rest coming down his back, this is before they decide on the teams and I'll show you a pic of what happens before they decide on the teams. Naruto's wearing the 11th one but the bottoms are black shorts and the pink on there is Orange.
~Third P0V~
Naruto is 11 years old while the others are 12, and he realized a few years ago that he has to hide his calm and scared self.
~Flashback no Jutsu!~
Uzumaki Naruto is 8 years old and he realized that he has to hide his smart, calm, and terrified self he's terrified of the villagers and afraid that he'll be rejected for his long red hair and giant blue eyes. The villagers always told him that his hair is a sign of a demon and his eyes show the fact that he's a soul seer. Naruto was scared that the others would make fun of his hair so he acted like an idiot to make it seems that he could take an insult.
~Release!~
Naruto decided to let his Mask down and told Iruka that he was going to act the way I normally do without being weird.
The others looked at naruto who was wearing an outfit like the ones he wore when they were there for the first few years.
"Wow Naruto!" Ino said, "Your outfit is amazing!" Naruto blushes and replies, "Th-thanks I-Ino! Y-you look nice too!" Ino looked at Naruto shocked, "Naruto, you stuttered?!" Sakura continued what she was saying, "And blushed!" Nara Shikamaru rolled his eyes and said,
"Don't you remember Up until Naruto turned 8 he was calm and quiet, like Hinata? One day he was quiet dressed normally, and the next he came wearing a bright orange and blue jumpsuit and being loud and obnoxious. He obviously was faking being a crazy lunatic." Naruto nodded and whispered, "I was scared." Only Kiba, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji, and pretty much all the males heard me. "What do you mean you were scared Naru?" Kiba asked, oblivious to why he whispered it, "Ah- ah, um, Nevermind! Let's just forget about it! It's nothing important!" Shikamaru muttered under his breath, "You matter Uzumaki." Naruto heard that and blushed deeply. "N-no I don't Shika-chan." Shikamaru glared at Naruto. "Uzumaki Naruto. Your issues matter. What made you scared?" That gained attention from the others and Naruto muttered out something about how they'd hate him for his long red hair, "like the others do."
The men looked mad and the females looked horror struck.
"All right kids, Lunch time!" We all cheered and as I was walking towards the bathroom, when I was pulled into the girls rest room and three girls stood over me, glaring at me.
"So you think just because your hair is long and red you are better than us!?"
"We'll show you Uzumaki scum!"
"Lets get rid of that, 'Long red hair'!"
And with that, the middle girl pulled out a kunai and sliced Naruto's bun, making his hair go a little past his shoulders, then the bell rang and we had to go back to class.
~Naruto's P0V~
I started crying because my beautiful long hair was cut and looked terrible. I walked back to class, eyes red from crying and hair looking really bad and when I entered Iruka-sensei, Sasu, Kiba, Shika, Choji, Ino, Sakura, Hinata, Neji, Tenten, and Lee gasped at my now short hair.
"Naruto! What happened to your hair, it was long earlier!" I felt tears well up in my eyes and I heard the girl who cut my hair yelled out, "The Uzumaki Scum probably cut it itself so it could get attention!" The other two girls laughed and my vision went fuzzy from tears.
"THAT'S ENOUGH ISAKAI, HARUSHI, AND GINA! YOU WILL NOT INSULT OTHER KIDS IN THIS CLASS. DETENTION!!" Iruka-sensei yelled out using his Big head jutsu. Ino and Kiba ran down to me to help me. Ino said to Iruka-sensei, "Kiba and I are going to take Naru to the bathroom to fix his hair and calm him down, is that alright?" Iruka-sensei was still mad, yet nodded and said, "Take your time. We're having another Bullying seminar."

Ino took out a pair of sissors and a kunai, which made me flinch. "It's ok Naru, I'm just fixing your hair a little neater, so it doesn't look so unruley." I nodded and smiled at Ino. Kiba locked the bathroom door, and hugged me tight and said, "I'm sorry I didn't protect you Naru-chan!" I smiled, "It's ok Kiba-san! At least you're comforting me and Ino's fixing my hair!" The both of them shared a look that showed worry. "If you need help Naru, We'll protect you if you accept us." I smiled at them and looked at my new hair cut, "Thank you, Ino-Chan! It looks amazing!" Ino smiled and Kiba Hugged me once again, "Now let's go see our teams, eh Naru?" "Let's go!"
