Episode 18: Gimme Some Times, Will You?

[Arrive at Chaeyoung's house]

"Gomabweo, Chanyeol, for today! I had the overload fun! Keke!" Chaeyoung says after unlocking her seatbelt

"I should be the one to be thankful that you came out with me." He looks at her with his bubble eyes

"Chanyeol-ah! Can I say something straightforward?" Chanyeol confuses but nods anyway as his approval while Chaeyoung sighs once before her start "Actually, you are too way too good for me! Yeol-ah! I'm scared of hurting you."

"Andwae? Why are you scared of hurting me?" Chanyeol becomes, even more, confuse with what she just said

"I'm afraid if I cannot feel the same as you." She says in her low tone... "I said I'll give it a try but you... you are being too good for me... and... I'm scared if I cannot give you what you want..." She avoids his eyed contact by looking at her lap instead... Chanyeol grabs her hand on her lap with his right hand making her look at his face back... He smiles at her

"Chaeng-ah! It's me falling in love with you first so I can wait. And it's totally fine if you don't feel the same. Just tell me how you exactly feel later. If you still feel nothing about me, I'll let you go!"

"Chan........." Chaeyoung gaps her lip but no word came out

"If we're meant to be, we'll be. Don't force nor pressure yourself and neither do I!" Chanyeol smiles wider at her again "So don't feel bad towards me, arraseo? And don't overthink to yourself too!" Chaeyoung nods softly and Chanyeol smiles again at her "Since when did you become so pessimistic?" He laughs at her

"What do you mean by becoming pessimistic?" Chaeyoung raises her eyebrows so he laughs again and shakes his head

"Nothing!"

"Alright! I'm going in! Go home and text me when you arrive safely!" Chaeyoung taps his board shoulder so that he nods back as a yes. She opens the car door and steps down. She waves as a final goodbye for today and he waves back with his smile. He sighs a bit... It's true that he's also sad about what she told him a moment ago but he cannot blame her either so he only wishes for...

[Park Family's Mansion]

"Annyeong Joy-ah!" a middle-aged man says as he enters the house. Sooyoung bows as a greet toward him

"Annyeong Samcheon!" it's Hosong Samcheon, younger brother of Sooyoung's mum

"How long have you been here? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I've stayed for months and I already transferred to study here in Korea."

"When will Noona come?"

"She told me that she'll come with Appa sooner."

"I see." Hosong Samcheon nods. They both go and sit on the sofa in front of the TV for further talk

"Why don't you continue your study in the U.S? Why do you want to come back to Korea?" Sooyoung stuns for a moment for his question. Actually, nobody knows or expects that she came to Korea to meet her elder sister, Park Chaeyoung...

"Samcheon... Actually... I... I found... I found Rosé Unnie." Sooyoung sighs and faces down to her lap. Her Samcheon gives a surprising look... What is it????????

"Chaeyoung is alive? Are you serious?!??!!?" Hosong says with his high tune... Sooyoung just nods as an answer... She doesn't know the story yet...

"Is Noona aware of that?" He moves closer to her seeking the answer. Sooyoung shakes her head slowly...

"Ani! I haven't told anyone yet beside you. When Eomma comes, I'll arrange our meet. You're the first one I told about her!"

Hosong farewells to Sooyoung and enters his car. He drives outside the gate but suddenly stops the car to recall. He tries to convince Sooyoung to bring him to Chaeyoung but Sooyoung denied. She wants her parents back first and reunion later. She's afraid that Chaeyoung won't see her again...

Hosong smiles creepily insides his car... Like he planned something evil again...

"Park Chaeyoung! I will make sure you never stand a chance to see your parents again."
