A New Addition

Park Jimin's Point Of View

"Jiminieee wake up!" Taehyung's voice pulled me from my sleep which made me pout because I was having the cutest dream. In my dream Taehyung had set up the living room of the dorm with fairy lights on the wall, a fort made out of blankets and pillows was in the middle and a picnic basket filled with sandwich's and chocolate coated strawberries.

This dream was different though, it was more like a memory because he did something similar on our anniversary last year except the fairy lights weren't working properly and we had to use candles instead. He was so cute with a pout on his face when the lights didn't work.

"Jiminieeeee" I heard my Tae say in a whiny voice which made me smile. I opened one of my eyes in enough time to see Taehyung fall onto my body.

"I'm awake you pabo, you woke me from my dream" I said in a fake annoyed voice, he smiled innocently and moved my blonde hair away from my eyes.

"What were you dreaming about?" He said as I opened my other eye to adjust to the light in the room. The curtains were drawn open and Tae was wearing black ripped jeans and a white, red and black vertically striped long-sleeved shirt, he also had his shoes on.

"You" I said with a light blush on my face which in turn made him coo and squish my cheeks. I swatted his hands away and pulled the blanket up more.

"Why are you dressed?" I asked as I let the warmth of the blanket spread across my body. Taehyung moved a little so he was now straddling my legs and just smirked at me.

"Why, do you not want me to be dressed?" He asked unbuttoning the first button on his shirt. My eyes widened at his actions, my hands going up to stop him from continuing to unbutton his shirt. He chuckled and left a kiss on my forehead.

"Remember what today is? We are going to start our family today!" He said with a huge smile on his face. My face instantly lightened up and I sat up straight in bed my hands moving to Taehyung's hips so he didn't fall backwards.

"Really?! Today, we don't have any schedules at all?" He shook his head and kissed my nose.

"Nothing at all, come on now and go get dressed so we can leave" I nodded excitedly and got up from the bed after Tae got off of my lap. I grabbed a baby pink sweater and white pants from my dresser and hurried to get dressed.

Today we were going around the city to look for a little fur-baby for Taehyung and I to adopt. Jin hyung had sat us down a week earlier to talk to us about this. Everyone else had said that it was okay and even the company had agreed that having a little companion would be nice for us even to just distract ourselves if we've had an overwhelming day.

>Flashback to last week in third person<

"I just wanted to sit you two down for a minute so we could talk about this big decision you deciding to make" Jin had said while looking between the couple who made themselves comfortable on the three-seater couch across from the armchair which Jin sat in.

Taehyung was lying with his legs across the seats on the couch slightly spread apart which allowed Jimin to lie in between his legs and lean back so his head was resting against Taehyung's chest.

The scene made Jin's heart swoon, he would admit that he was a hopeless romantic. At the moment the two were playing with each other's fingers and the promise rings which were placed on their middle fingers. They were lost in the company of each other and Jin didn't want to ruin it but he needed to make sure they knew what they were doing.

"I know that you two want to start your own little family by adopting a baby animal and I also know that everyone is happy with your decision but you do realise that this will change not only your lives but all of ours as well, you have to be responsible for them and care for them exceptionally."

Taehyung and Jimin listened attentively to what Jin had to say and reassured him that they would take 100% responsibility for their soon-to-be adopted fur-baby.

"We want this so bad, after being together for three years, we're ready Hyung. Both of us are prepared that all of our lives will change and if something were to happen, we will take responsibility. Please don't worry okay hyung?"

With this, Jin was not only satisfied that the boys were ready for this but was also excited to have a new addition to the family.

>End of flashback and time-skip to 4 hours later in Park Jimin's Point Of View<

We were five minutes away from the dorm after spending four hours looking at different pet shelters around the city. I felt the small bundle in my arms move making me look down with a smile. After a while of going back and forth between two different kittens we had chosen one.

She was 8 and a half weeks old and extremely playful and affectionate towards those around her. The volunteer at the store had given us a heads up though because she was extremely curious and loved exploring new and different places. Her fur was a mix of different shades of grey and she had light grey eyes, as well, to match.

I stroked the top of the small kitten's head which caused her eyes to open. She stretched a little and continued to look up at me curiously. I cooed at her and out of the corner of my eye I saw Taehyung smiling at our interaction.

"What do you think we should name her Min?" Taehyung said softly as he came to a stop at the traffic lights. Immediately, many names came to the front of my mind but none of them seemed to fit her. I rubbed under the kitten's chin which seemed to greatly please her as she let out a few purrs.

"What about Misty? It goes with the different shades of grey fur that she has, we could call her MiMi for short. It's just a suggestion" I heard Taehyung's voice as I continued to look at the bundle of fur in my hands.

Misty? MiMi? I started smiling like a real dork and kissed Tae on the cheek. Misty suited her and now that I think about it nothing else would be better.

"It's perfect Tae!" I exclaimed which seemed to peek the interest of our little one.

"Hi there Misty, do you like your new name?" All she did was stare back up at me with her big curious eyes.

Not even a minute later, we had pulled up to the dorm in one of the companies cars. All of the members were waiting in the front lounge area and I walked in cradling Misty like a newborn baby.

All of the facial expressions in this room softened greatly as they saw the small bundle of fur in my arms. They all took turn to introduce themselves to her so as not to overwhelm and scare her.

"Congratulations you two, and for you, welcome to the family"

I couldn't be happier than I was right now. Taehyung's arms were wrapped around me so I was in trapped in a back hug, our new addition to the family was curled up in my arms, and everyone was so happy and excited to see this little one grow up.
