He is fond of interacting with new people to make new friends. Additionally, Mohannad Barakat is a part of a musical band. He has great interest in different cultures and religions, and tries to learn more about them. He was a first team player at the University Basketball Club and was the coach to the 2nd team championship winner as a player as well as a coach.
