Walk Away

When Victoria is done fixing my hair and make-ups.

She held my hand and make our way outside our room.

"Lucille, Cant you remember?" Victoria said while looking at me with confusion.

"Remember what?" I answered her.

"Its our seventeen Birthday" Victoria said, while pinching my cheeks.

"Silly" Victoria added.

'Oh. Really, its our birthday.' I said to myself.

Birthday is just a normal day to me.

So why Queen bother celebrating it?

When where in the center of the Palace.

There are many Visitors and Guest,who are looking at us now.

"Lets start the Party!" A girl said. She's wearing a red long gown and happily face us.

I look around. And see Queen who is intently looking at Victoria.

I wish I was Victoria,so I can feel having a mother.

Theres a big difference on how vampires, Queen and others treating me and Victoria.

They give too much attention to Victoria,while on me. Im just like a nobody to them. Im just nothing to them.

Having a blood of witch is like curse and a communicable disease at the same time ,that many Vampires and other han dont want to involve their self to you. They dont want to get closer to me.

They dont even want to laid their hands on me.

Flashback

"Lets go Victoria, Queen said she was going to meet a very important visitor. I want to see them" I said joyfully to Victoria.

"Wait. You seem so excited" Victoria said and comb her hair for the last time.

Am I that Obvious?

When were in the Cleminty Room(where visitors usually entertained).

We sat on the couch and wait for the visitor and Queen to enter the room.

When we heard the door handle move. We stand up and greet the visitors and Queen.

"Take a seat." Queen said to the Visitors and point the couch who is facing ours.

"Who is this two beautiful ladies?" The Visitor ask.

"Oh.. there are my bestfriend daughters." The Queen said and sat on the heart chair.

"That girl seems different" The Visitor said and point me.

I was shocked. Do I?

He stand up and inspect me. He even touch my hair.

"She's a half witch" Queen Arley said.

The moment Queen Arley said those words. It is also the moment I felt a tight feeling on my chest.

Because the man who is fascinated with my hair,instantly remove her hand on my hair.

Its like something on my hair is disgusting that you can eventually take off your hands.

"Go to your room, Lucille" Queen ordered me.

I left the room, and go to the garden.

I sat on the grass. And watch the two twins who is practicing combat.

"Hi, Lucille" Vlhademir greet me when he saw me.

I only smile at him and wave my right hand.

Vourne look at me and shooed me away.

I instantly go to my room and cry all day.

Even thou I received those kind of treatment. I can't hate them. They are still the one,who stand as my parents, even thou I can't feel it.

Her gaze goes to me. I look away and look down.

"Let us all Welcome our Celebrants" The Master of ceremony said.

Many Visitors clapped when they heard it.

"Victoria Gleglole Howard and her HalfSister Lucille Selean Howard" The Master of  Ceremony said and point us the two grand chair.

We sit there. I feel so uncomfortable. I feel there are two pair of eyes who is intently watching my every move.

I look around and see an old man who is madly staring at me.

I feel uneasy.

He stand up on his chair.

"Listen eveyone!" The old man said and stand on the table.

All of Visitors are looking at him.

"That girl is an enemy. SHE IS A WITCH!!" The old man said again.

Yes I am. Is there any problem with it?

I want to said those words. But it seems that someone is stopping me.

The commotion start to spread.

"Thats why she looks different"

"Oh. Why did Queen Arley let her enter our Place."

"She need to die. Shes just going to ruin our place."

"She need to be out of here!!!!"

"Riffraff!"

"Trash!"

"Enemy!

"Riffraff!"

I want to walk away. Hearing those words is killing me.

Fleringo fruits fly over towards me,that is the first course. A red round fruit.

All of them are throwing Flerongo over me.

"Stop it. Im taking this Party off!!!!!!!!!!!" Vourne shouted in the front of visitors.

The Visitors make their way out of the Palace.

Queen Arley Commanded us to follow her.

When we got to Helkor Room. Queen pointed as the chairs.

When Im half way sitting on the chair the door open.

Three men entered.

Vourne. Vlhademir his twin. Coearge their father and Queen husband. Of course!

"You shouldnt Celebrate it Mom" Vlhademir said to Queen.

"I didn't see it coming" Queen said.

"Are you Okay?" Coearge said in a worried tone. And hug Queen.

"It should be Only Victoria who celebrate her birthday... .." Vourne said and sit on the chair.

My chest feel a strike of pain.

Am I unlikeable?

When I saw the faces if visitors while saying those hurtful words.

It hurts!! Arghhh!

But when Vourne said. That Its just should only Victoria.

Why Did I feel hurt?

Look!, I dont care if he dont like me.

When Vourne Is going to say something again.

I walk away.

I hear them calling me. But I dont look back.

Punish me. If they want.

I walk away because, I dont want to hear hurtful words again.

"When a sharpest and hurtful words wanna cut you down" I whispered to myself and close the door behind.
