After a week of camping, Cassie found a flyer for a rodeo in the town that was ten minutes away. She came into the campsite with the flyer in her hands. I was psyched to go but it took a bit of convincing before the boys agreed to go. There would be games, a few rides, shopping, and a dance. On the night of the rodeo, Cassie and I practically ran to the showers. The shower building was split into four rooms. Each had a toilet, sink, and shower. Our rooms were next to eachother. After a nice shower, i got out and put my shower things back in my bag. I brought my makeup kit out and carefully opened it. I took an extra towel out and dried my hair. Since the towel wasnt too wet, i set it on the floor to dry my feet. I put on a pair of ankle socks. Carefully, i pulled on my cream dress with a brown belt. I put on matching boots. Not boots that you wear in the winter or ugs, but boots that you see girls wear with cute dresses. I chose my eyeshadow and applied enough that you could see it, but not to much. I put on my lipstick and mascara. I was going to put on blush but noticed that my cheeks were already pink enough. I carefully clipped my flower pin into my hair. After making sure i had everything, I went outside to wait for Cassie. When she came out, we examined eachothers outfits. She was wearing a light blue dress, white cardigan, and white boots. Her hair was wavy. We made our way to the campsite and into our tents. I sat on my couch while i waited for Derek. He came out of our room and was wearing a pair of jeans, sneakers, and a red plaid shirt. He grabbed my hand and we went out to the car. We waiting for Cassie and Felix then went to the rodeo

The rodeo was crazy! Cassie and Felix went on some rides while Derek played a few games. He won me a giant stuffed panda. We put in the car and went to do some shopping. I bought a pretty necklace and Derek helped me put it on. We sat at a picnic table, eating pizza, when i noticed that Derek was staring at me.
"why are you staring at me Derek?"
"you look amazing tonight. but your missing something."
I almost choked on my pizza. "what am i missing?"
he flashed me a smile. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a simple, silver ring. "a promise ring."
"oh derek!!!!!" I wrapped my arms around him and passionatley kissed him. He gave me the ring and we walked towards the dance. I saw Cassie and skipped towards her.
"derek gave me a promise ring!!"
"shut up!!! NO WAY!!!!!!" we giggled and i noticed she had a black ring. i lightly punched her arm
"you didnt tell me you got one too!"
she smiled and we joined the boys on the dance floor. After 3 hours of dancing, drinking, and partying, we left for the campsite. I was worried about who would drive because we had all been drinking and were a little tipsy. I fell asleep before i could say anything though.

Derek carried me to our tent. I was worried that he was drunk. When he laid me on the bed, he started to kiss me.
"stop it derek! Your drunk!!!!" his kisses stopped
"you still dont want to do this? Come on Sam. Please?"
"no derek. not until we are married." He looked into my eyes
"i love you Samantha Eclair! and you love me. I dont see whats so bad about expressing our love for eachother."
"im scared though. I've never done it. You havent either. and what if i get pregnant? My parents will murder me AND the baby."
"you wont get pregnant. I promise. And if you do, i will be here for you. But remember, you WONT get pregnant."
"*sigh* Fine Derek. you win. I know you want this and i do too. i love you too much to say no"
"i love you Sam." I could hear the smile in his voice. His kisses started again and i kissed back. He kissed my neck and jaw. I could feel his hands taking the belt off my dress. Before i had time to think, my dress, boots, and everything else. were on the tent floor. He shook his clothes off and lifted me onto the bed. He kicked the blankets and pillows onto the floor. We kissed and then he froze.
"now what sam?"
"i dont know! i thought you were the one being incharge since this was YOUR idea."
"so you want to........."
"want to what?"
He whispered the answer in my ear "go all the way?"
I gave it some thought and said "Derek, i love you with all my heart. Since it will make you happy, and probably us both, yes. i want to go all the way."
He kissed me again. I silently moaned eachtime he went all the way (i cant bring myself to say WHAT he did. its private. but you might know) I fell asleep. When i woke up, i was laying ontop of Derek. My mind was groggy from last night. I didnt remember what had happened. I opened my eyes and found myself staring into Dereks piercing blue eyes. I was hit with the memory of last night. I jumped out of the bed and covered myself with the blanket that was sprawled on the floor.
"what was that?" he asked.
"when we had.... intercourse, you didnt see me since it was dark. I dont want to show myself. please cover up!" I had my eyes shut
Since i couldnt see, i could see Derek walk up to me. Suddenly, he had his arms around me and was kissing me again. I started to kiss him back and we fell on the bed. I slowly opened my eyes and noticed him checking me out.
"DEREK!!! You perve!!!!"
I saw his..... unit and quickly closed my eyes.
"babe, your hot!"
"shut up please. Im scared about what we did you know!" I grabbed a clean sundress, pair of undies, and bra and put them on. After slipping on my flip flops, i went into the living room. Derek came in fully clothed.
"are you saying that you regret making love?"
"no. it was great but im afraid of the consequences. i feel like im pregnant. My stomach aches and im gonna puke!" As soon as the words were out of my mouth, i threw up on derek.
"im so sorry!!! I didnt mean to!!!"
he laughed and changed. "lets go get you some tests in town."
We drove to town and i ran into the store. I grabbed three tests just to be sure. "arent you a little young to be having sex?" the cashier lady asked me. I noticed she was missing a few teeth and the others were yellow.
"arent you a little to young to be missing teeth?" she glared at me and gave me my change. I ran out to Derek and he gave me a bottle ofwater to drink. I had to pee badly. I ran into the gas station bathroom while Derek got some gas. I unwrapped all three test and used them seperatly. I put them in the bag and went to the car.
"did you look at them Samantha?"
"no. but i will now."
The first one was negative. We smiled at eachother. But the second was positive. the smile faded from my lips.
"derek-"
"lets see the last one!"
slowly, i took the third one out of the bag.
