"Wake up Maggot!" The woman yells to her son as she downs another cup of alchohol. "You got school, bratt." The boy slowly got up, the bruises from the night before burning against his pale skin. He dug out a purple shirt and a black hoodie, throwing on some Jean's and putting on the necklace his best friend gave him before he moved. He grabbed his headphones, phones, and keys, slipping out of his room. He glanced at his mother who was talking to some guy he had never seen before on the couch. Head down, he leaves the house, making his way to school.
See, this was his first day. He pulls up GPS on his phone and frowns, realizing he would be late. He began walking.
"Honey, your late for school." Mrs. Evergreen calls to her son who was sleeping upstairs. Jack grumbles, rolling out of bed. And I mean, rolling. He plopped onto the ground with a groan. He slowly got up and began getting dressed. Grabbing his bag, he made his way downstairs. "Hey mom?"
The woman looks at her son, "hmm? What Is it jack?" He grabs a piece of toast, "could you take me to school?" He asks, trying to be polite, though he truly just didnt want to go. "Of course. He walked to his class hesitantly, knowing his teacher would be pissed. He slides the door open as eyes of many colors and emotions turn to him, his teachers fierce and unsettling.
"Ah, Mr. Evergreen. Your late." She spits, her poisones words snaking out of her mouth and into the room. He slowly nods, his eyes narrowing almost as a challenge. She frowns a bit more. "That's detention, and now that your here..." she says, handing him a sheet of paper, "I need you to get a desk from the storage. Here's a note."
His eyes scan the paper, "why the hell do you need a desk?" The woman glares at him, "language. And for your information, there will be a new student. Now you would have known that if you were on time Mr. Evergreen. Now go." He shuffles out of the room, cursing
