Chapter 6

Alex pov

I had such an amazing time with shawn. Was it a date? All those kind of thoughts just rush through your head, sometimes over thinking things,  but maybe not this time.

I look at my clock and its only 6pm. Wow todays dragging like hell. I walk to my room and grab my apple laptop, may aswell ocupy myself with something and social medias the answer.

I log onto my twitter and my notifications were blowing up. I open them to see shawn had tagged me in a picture. I stare at the screen and scrunch my eyebrows together, what could it be?

I open the picture and its a picture of the polaroid i gave to shawn while on our 'date' i cant help but smile at the screen.

I decide to read the comments, not knowing what i could possibly let myself in for some read 'shawn you could do way better ' 'ew shes a slut' 'shawn revaluate your life' wow i didn't know how to feel, and this is when we're not even dating.  But there were some nice comments 'oh i ship it!' '#Salex forever ' i giggled at the last comment as ive never had a ship name.

I continue scrolling through twitter and one tweet in particular catches my eye. And it was from shawn. I instantly panicked and slammed my laptop closed.

You've become part of my life in little time, but it don't want to loose you shawn mendes.

Shawn pov

Hanging with alex today was awesome, i cut the dat- well i don't know what it was short because i have a big announcement to put on twitter in a matter of an hour. Im really excited for this and to see the reactions of my amazing fans.

I've become pretty popular all ofa sudden and i have over a million followers, which is insane. Everything that I've wanted to happen in my life has happened or is going to happen.

I walk up to my room grabbing a muffin on the way, hey i can't live without my muffins. I take a seat at my desk and turn on my imac computer. I soon log onto twitter and start to compose a tweet for my big announcement.

@shawnmendes Hey guys! I have a huge announcement coming in 30 mins tops! Let's get this hashtag trending before i tell you all! #SomethingBigIsHappening

I hit send and soon enough the hashtag was trending.

I just sit and stare at my screen counting down the minutes until i tell the news.  Am i ready for this?  Should i stop while im ahead? What about Alex? Too many questions. This is my future.  What should i do?

5 minutes. Should i cancel? Too many thoughts.

2 minutes. What should i do?

1 minute. I've planned to much to stop this now. But alex. Damn you brain you know whats best.

I open up twitter again to compose another tweet. I take a deep breath and begin to type

@shawnmendes So here it is! #SomethingBigIsHappening my new album which i will be taking on a worldwide tour!! (A/n i know shawn isn't doing worldwide tour but in my story he is!) Buy your tickets here**********

I hit send and get so many responses asking about where I'll be going, not everything is planned but i will go everywhere possible! 

Just one problem what should i do about alex? Take her with me? Ask her to be my girlfriend and we'll go on an adventure? Worth a shot...
