"AUBREE," my mother yelled at me from downstairs. "TIME TO GET UP. SCHOOL!" Let me tell you that this woman's voice carries. I slipped on some sweats, tied my hair into a messy bun, and slid my "boyfriend's" sweat shirt over my tank top, then I waddled downstairs to meet my family. "Hey." I mumbled as I stepped into the kitchen. "Coffee?" my mother looked over at me with a smile. "Sure," I replied, "why are you so peppy?" She ignored me for a few minutes, still smiling at she poured creamer into my coffee. "I have a date Friday night." Good for her. My mom and dad were never married, but when my mom got pregnant with me, he ran off with some slut, or, my bother's old baby sitter. What a dad, huh? My brother still remembers the day, and he can tell you every single detail. He hates our dad. I never knew him, but I do hate him for running out on my mother instead of taking care of his kids. "Well, I'm off to school mom. I love you. Oh! And I'm going to Austin's house tonight." I kissed her, then I was gone.
"Hey boo." Austin greeted my when I pulled up to the school. "We gonna ditch today?"
"I don't know babe, I have a test in Pre Cal." I responded, uncomfortably shifting in my seat. His eyes were burning through me. "Okay." I finally gave up. He got into the passenger's seat and started to kiss my neck before he even shut the door. "Babe," I snapped, "wait until we get out of here." We pulled up to his house and we both got out of the car. His dad is at work and his dad's girlfriend, I'm assuming, is at her friend Taylor's. They're like teenage girls, when they're actually about 28. His dad, however, is 35.
Austin pulled me into his room and pushed me onto the bed. "Don't you think we shouldn't have sex until we're actually dating?" I asked, pursing my lips. "Why do we have to be dating to have sex boo? And anyways, we've already done it tons of times."
Well go die. "You know what I mean." I glared at him. He could tell I was mad, so he just kissed me, and kissed me, and kissed me. He somehow positioned himself on top of me and, well, the rest is history. It's stupid of me to start an argument if I'm just going to end up having sex with him anyways. Afterwards, our romantic, deep conversations started. "Hey, do you have any cigarettes? My dad hasen't gotten me a new pack yet." he asked. How cute, right?
"Yeah, just got a pack of Red 100's yesterday. Don't smoke all of them though. I don't get pain until Friday."
"Do you want a beer? We can watch Without a Paddle and have a burping contest like last night." True love.
When I went home, my mom was in the kitchen putting away her dinner. "Did you work today?" I asked her. "Yeah," she replied. "12 hour shift today. Long day hun. I'm going to get to bed. But tomorrow, do you want to go to the mall? I finally have a day off, and I haven't spent any time with you lately."
"Sure." I said, then hugged her. "Goodnight mom."
