??? Pov
Thousands of stories are told of mythical creatures. From satyrs to dragons. Man-Apes to hydras. You may not believe me, but some are true. From my land they grew. From my heart they live on. From my mind... They were created. My child, Jenuai, told of these beasts as if they were deadly sins. She no longer breathes, nor sees. But she feels.
Her poor soul was locked away, to create a species know as 'Shifters'. Where a young girls destiny awaits...

Kelsey POV
"Miss Tanner, are you listening?" I heard a deep voice call out from the front of the classroom. I looked up from under my black fringe.
"Ah, what was the question?" I mumbled, staring at my red headed teacher. A few girls giggled in the back, probably because I was going to get in trouble again. I turned and stared at them, forcing as much anger as I could into my ichor eyes.
They shut up.
The teacher sighed, and hissed, "To the office, I'll be sure to. . . Alert them of your presence," she smiled and walked to the chalkboard.
Pulling my black short sleeved shirt down, I picked up my ducktaped binder up and headed towards the exit.I didn't make it out of teh door before I heard a girl whisper 'Slut' behind me.
I turned back to stare at her. She had been giggling to her friend, Pamela Anderson, and Kari looked up at me with frightened eyes.
"What was that? I don't think the boys in the front heard you, mkayy?" I said, sounding astonishingly close to her voice. Fuming, she turned bright pink around her ears and opened her mouth to say something.
"Now Kelsey, to the office." My teacher said over her shoulder, continuing to write an equation on the board.
I quietly opened the door, and when I was out of sight of Mrs.Jenics, I turned to flip Kari off. Staring at me, I shut the door before she could counter it. I made my way down teh hallway to the principles office.
I stroked my mark on teh way down, my beautiful birthmark that looked like a wilted rose. The doctors said it was just a birthmark and not infected, though it was a dark blackish green color.
I walked right past the office, continuing towards my locker. Once there, I put in the combination and grabbed my bag. Taking out my iPod, I turned it onto the Knockout cover by Blood on teh Dance Floor, my favorite band at teh moment.
When I turned teh corner, I crashed into probably teh hottest guy I've ever seen.
