Chapter 1
Government Secrets
His malicious eyes scanned the printed document that laid directly in front of him; gripping the paper as his fingertips burned white. The disturbed man sat inside the Ambergris Caye Asylum. This specific institution was constructed at Rocky's Point Ambergris Caye; isolating itself far from society. He placed the papers down on the mahogany table.
"This girl. What the hell did you do to her?" His words lingered with venom as his glare pierced the eyes of the scientist that sat across from him.
"D-24. She has evolved more than any of the other patients. Her brain cells are cooperating with the mixtures of multiple organism's deoxyribonucleic acids and chemical X34. She has the mental capacity and knowledge of a fully grown adult! She's still in the developing stages, so she behaves similarly to that of a child. I-I think, she could be the one. One more experiment; is all I ask. She will be ready!" His words trembled off his lip and incoherent mumbles followed after. Insane laughs spilled over the table as he spoke.
"Her strength is phenomenal! With the various combinations of the bacterial intestines; every year for her is five human years! Her diet consists of deceased human bones and rotting flesh; benefiting in war situations. This last test: Test #172, is for her to withstand nuclear warfare. Hehe, imagine! She will be the first of this generation!" The scientist burst into brute laughter; grasping the edges of the table inside his aged hand.
"That's quite enough, Dr. Miller. I approve of Test #172. Proceed." The Prime Minister, Christopher Barrow, bluntly agreed.
Christopher was very aware of what this institution conducted.
Due to the stricken poverty that the country suffers in, the government extracted mentally ill patients from the Full Impact Recovery Rehab Center and experimented on the diseased. The Prime Minister desires to create a living nuclear weapon to sell to the highest bidding country.
The Prime Minister will do anything to ensure this experiment is a success; whatever it takes. In all honesty, he didn't care. He needed a weapon and he'd do anything to get it; for his country.
The Prime Minister of Belize was currently parading through the institution's hallways. The deranged scientist was plastered to the Minister's side.
Screams of pain filled the void air as Christopher strolled past the experimental and surgical chambers. The rugged cement flooring was decorated with dried blood and several pieces of fingernails. Rust was peeling off the metal doors of the cambers.
Christopher's eyes shifted to the bulletproof glass panels beside the doorways; easily viewing the scenery that occurred behind closed doors. A young boy, no older than six, was detained to a wooden chair, and chains were linked to his neck, arms, and legs; completely disabling him.
